Blackspur BB-GM100 Gutter Mesh

This did what it said on the tin. It will not just fit in the UK half round gutters so clips are necessary I found the Gutter Brush clips worked OK, but I expect you could twist wire around it or use long cable ties as well as it is only a way of getting the mesh to rest atop the gutter! Looking back, I expect it would have been a bit cheaper to buy the clips and mesh as a kit, but I only found that item after I'd bought them separately. Still, despite the horrendous recent gales and storms, the gutters on my sheds remain rubbish free, so job done well and cheaply!

Bought this roll of mesh for a very small job in the garden, stopping stones falling down the drain cover! We'd looked for ages to find something that would cover a small circular drain cover that sits bang in the middle of a path of garden stones but couldn't find what we needed. Then came across this, which seems to actually be for gutters and stopping leaves falling in. It's quite a substantial roll of hard, but flexible, black plastic mesh that's easily cut to size with some scissors. Whilst our intent was to bend this around the circular cover we found it a little too stiff to be able to do that so it now just sits on top of the cover held in place by some stones (note, it doesn't come with any kind of fixings!) and does the job brilliantly. Well worth the purchase price and we've got an absolute tonne of the stuff left! I have installed this product this autumn and will see how it weathers through the winter/spring and report back then . But the installation was quite easy one tip before trying to install it on your own is roll out the mesh somewhere warm put a weight on each end and leave for a few hours this helps stopping it from so much springing back and trying to re roll itself. But if there are two people doing the job no need to do this .

Worked really well for my requirements, although I did drill a few small pilot holes near gutter lip to attach the mesh with cable ties. This keeps it perfectly in place even in high winds. I can’t say if this product would stay in place if simply placed in gutter as I attached mine, but I would imagine, looking at it, it would probably not stay in place. If you intend to do as I have, then this is perfect for the job.

Bought to fit on my car air intakes as an interim fix. Does the job well, really cost effective. Easy to work with and cut into shape if needed. Feels quite robust too and has a decent coating on the mesh.

I had to get a roofer to fit it for me as it's a bit of effort to install it whilst up a ladder, and he's used to doing things like that at height. We have a moss problem on the roof tiles and the gutter is always getting full of clumps of moss. This works really well and the moss ends up rolling over it and falls down to the ground for an easy sweep up. We've had it installed for 3 months and I've noticed a lot of moss on the ground that would have been in the gutter.

Last year I got caught out with my driveway soak away being blocked by falling leaves so I thought I would use this gutter mesh to help solve this problem. Cut the mesh down and cable tied it to the underside of the metal grills. Simple and easy and has worked a treat. It has kept the soak away virtually clear from the falling leaves directly above it. Good value and perfect for my little project.

I used this to cover the guttering on the back of our conservatory where it meets a sloping roof. Leaves were collecting in the guttering and were difficult to remove. This mesh has solved the issue. Robust and pliable. 5*

keine gitterhalter dabei wie soll man es auf eine dachrinne montieren, ,sollte bei der beschreibung dabeistehen.sonst ist das gitter leicht zu bearbeiten.
