I have been buying a variety of nuts including the jumbo cashews from Zein’s brand and have liked their quality. The cashews are offered in two different sizes: The Jumbo Cashews The Cashews (standard) I always buy the jumbo size and they are really jumbos when compared to the standard size of this brand and also the other brands. The taste is really good and the cashes are always fresh. What I don’t like is that the price has been hiking steadily and had risen nearly 30% - 35% within the last 6-9 months. This uprising of the prices had been evident for Zeina’s other nuts such as the almonds and especially the pistachios kernels which has increased by nearly 50% within the last 9-12 months. It’s good if the seller could clarify the reason for upscaling its prices.

Good quality but little bit less crunchy, need to roast a bit for full flavor. really good value for money. no old oily smells like the old Indian one have. really happy will buy continuously.

On looking for raw Cashews, I inspected the product picture of these closely, and noted a few broken ones and splits - but given that I've ordered nuts from this producer before and been happy with the product, thought I'd take a chance these would be good. These are. They're clean and plump raw cashews. Very few splits, and virtually no pieces. No discoloured, damaged or diseased nuts. There's a good six months shelf life still on these. Doesn't say whether they're Vietnamese or Indian in origin. I've uploaded a couple of pics of these to give you an idea of colour, size of nut and characteristics. I use Cashews a lot in cooking, and as a change from Almond milk - Cashews soaked and 'blitzed' makes a fabulous cream, a thick base for curries, or a sauce (spiced) to marinade pieces of chicken or prawns before grilling on skewers. They take less than half the time to soak that Almonds do, to get them plump for milk or 'cream' - Cashews will lend their flavour to many dishes, sweet and savoury, really versatile, and these seem to be a good consignment. I've had whiter Cashews than these for around the same price per Kg, but these have a lovely, creamy consistency and a great taste.

Jumbo cashews they are! Nice big nuts, not many broken bits, cream coloured/unblemished flesh, crunchy and creamy flavoured cashews.... what's not to like?. A kilo at a fraction of the price that the supermarkets charge, and the resealable pack is a bonus.

Very bad quality

Bought these as I do love nuts but tend to eat too many if they are 'delicious'! These are heavy and perfect - the largest cashews I've seen, but not delicious ...without some salt or oil.... It works well as can have a few and not hoover them up!

Only plus point is its all jumbo nuts. Worst in quality, 3 rd grade item. Never buy this brand again
