Great.
We have been using these for years for our extra large litter box for our two extra large cats. I was reading some questions and they don't smell and they are thin. They shouldn't be used in place of cleaning the litter box. If anyone's cat loves to play in the litter box like mine do, there is still going on be some mess but it's much better than the mess without the bag with all the messy, climpy litter sticks to the bottom of the box and that smell though. Yuck. We have a border piece that clips on around the box to hold the bag in. I would highly recommend putting the bag in and removing all the air bubbles before putting putting the litter in the box and do the border last. It is way less likely for the felines to get in, get their claw stuck in an air bubble, tear open the bag and make an even bigger mess.

Got these for my in laws.
My in laws have three cats and they're on the older side so they appreciate anything that helps make their life easier. I think the bags look a little weird but they seem to work well. They're easy to use, to put on and take out. If your cat scratches a lot, the bags might not be as durable, they will rip so you'll have to lift two of them.

Bait and switch
Ahh the old bait and switch. So we first ordered these in October of 2024. They were better than nothing, and were in a neat and nice roll. We don't have an automatic litter machine, but three kittens and I was tired of washing the boxes every week. The first box of liners was sturdy enough that I could scoop to the bottom of the pan and the bag didn't tear. The cats would occasionally tear it if we let the litter get too low, but that was our fault. Then came the next box. Oh boy were they a completely different product. Thinner than dollar store bathroom trash bag. Absolutely horrendous. They are see through, and no, I'm not kidding. The picture you see for this product is what you used to get or maybe you get for your first order. Then you get the switch. Buyer beware. You are throwing your money away and purchasing frustration and guaranteed messes.

Convenient and Durable Liners for Hassle-Free Litter Box Cleanup
I purchased the 30 Count Fresh Kitty Litter Box Liners (Jumbo, Scented) about a month ago to simplify cleaning my cat’s litter box, and they’ve been a game-changer for my daily pet care routine. As a cat owner with a busy schedule, I needed liners that were sturdy, easy to use, and effective at controlling odors. After using nearly half the box with my 10-pound tabby’s large litter box, here’s my detailed take on their performance, including pros, cons, and tips for other pet owners. How I Used It I use these liners in a standard jumbo litter box (approximately 22 x 17 inches) filled with clumping clay litter. My cat uses the box 2-3 times daily, and I typically change the liner every 5-7 days after scooping daily. The liners come with drawstring ties, which I use to seal the bag for easy disposal. The scented feature is meant to help with odor control, and I’ve tested them in both a well-ventilated room and a smaller enclosed space to gauge their effectiveness. Pros Durable Material: These liners are advertised as “super thick,” and they deliver. I haven’t had a single tear or puncture, even with my cat’s enthusiastic scratching or when lifting a full bag of litter. The thickness (0.8 mil, per the packaging) feels sturdier than cheaper liners I’ve tried. Easy to Use: The jumbo size fits my large litter box perfectly, with enough overhang to tuck under the rim securely. The drawstring ties make sealing and disposing of the bag a breeze—no mess or spills when taking it to the trash. Scented Odor Control: The light, fresh scent does a decent job masking litter box odors, especially in the first few days. It’s not overpowering, which I appreciate, as my cat is sensitive to strong fragrances. Value for Money: With 30 liners per box, this pack lasts me about 4-6 months at my current rate (changing weekly). At roughly $0.50 per liner, it’s a reasonable price for the convenience and quality. Clean Disposal: The liners keep the litter box itself clean, reducing the need for frequent scrubbing. I’ve noticed less litter sticking to the box’s bottom compared to using no liners. Cons Scent Fades Quickly: While the scent is pleasant initially, it weakens after 3-4 days, especially in a high-traffic litter box. If odor control is your top priority, you’ll still need to rely on quality litter or additional deodorizers. Not One-Size-Fits-All: The “jumbo” size is great for larger boxes, but it’s slightly oversized for smaller or standard boxes (e.g., 20 x 15 inches). I had to fold the excess material, which wasn’t a big issue but could be annoying for some. Drawstrings Could Be Stronger: The ties work well for light loads, but when the bag is heavy (e.g., a week’s worth of clumped litter), the drawstrings feel flimsy and occasionally slip. Double-knotting helps, but it’s an extra step. Environmental Concern: These are single-use plastic liners, which may not suit eco-conscious pet owners. I wish there were a biodegradable option for the same price and durability. Comparisons Compared to the Petmate Jumbo Litter Box Liners I used previously, the Fresh Kitty liners are thicker and less prone to tearing, though Petmate’s unscented liners are better for cats with scent sensitivities. Against generic store-brand liners (thinner, ~0.5 mil), these are far more reliable but pricier. If you’re debating between this 30-count pack and the 40-count Fresh Kitty unscented version, go with the scented if odor control matters; otherwise, the unscented is slightly cheaper per liner. Tips for Buyers Check Box Size: Measure your litter box before buying to ensure the jumbo size fits. For smaller boxes, consider a standard-size liner to avoid excess material. Maximize Scent: Place the litter box in a well-ventilated area to help the scent last longer, and pair with a high-quality clumping litter for better odor control. Secure the Liner: Tuck the liner tightly under the box’s rim or use clips to prevent your cat from pulling it loose while scratching. Eco Tip: If you’re concerned about plastic waste, empty the used litter into a compostable bag for disposal and reuse the liner for a second cycle if it’s still intact (though I don’t recommend this for hygiene reasons). Who Should Buy This? These liners are ideal for cat owners who want a low-maintenance solution for litter box cleanup, especially for larger boxes or multi-cat households. They’re not perfect for those needing heavy-duty odor control or eco-friendly options, but they strike a great balance of durability and convenience for the price. Overall, I’m impressed with the Fresh Kitty Liners and will likely repurchase when my supply runs low. They’ve saved me time and kept my home cleaner, which is a win as a busy pet parent. If you’ve used these or have tips for litter box maintenance, feel free to comment—I’d love to hear your experience!

Fits 4XL Boxes
I wasn’t sure if these would fit a 4XL high side steel litter box but they do (barely). It just takes pulling the top edge tight but they fit like a glove, which is great because I’ve not been able to find others. So if you have a XXXXL SS litter box give these a try!

Quality Has Gone Downhill
I’ve been a loyal customer of Fresh Kitty litter box liners for years and have always loved them, until now. Unfortunately, the quality has changed. The liners are noticeably thinner, and today while emptying my litter box, the bag ripped as I carried it to the larger trash, making a mess. I’m really disappointed because this used to be a reliable product I could count on. I’ve canceled my subscription and will be looking for a stronger liner.

Very effective
In order to insure success with this product, bc I was tired of using the scoop, I laid out all the sifting liners as they came stacked together. I looked at the punched holes & noticed some still had the plastic attached to the hole. I cleared out the holes & then I laid them out 1x1 horizontally then vertically just to make sure all the holes were clear of plastic. They didnt come with an elastic band but the elastic bands never work like you need. Theyre a hassle to remove the sifting liner. I decided to uses large plastic clothesline pins around the pan. Results: litter cleaning would take 3-5 minutes. Minimal dust up or exposure to dirty litter. The pin removal took me more time than lifting the dirty sifter liner & quickly transferring it to a garbage bag. Very satisfied with this product. Beware, if you tug at the plastic hole to remove the punched out plastic you may make the hole bigger & ruin the liner. Pros: hole size allows for quick sifting & dumping of soiled liner, opaque bags hide the contents, size big enough for average pans, plastic liners never broke & none arrived torn Cons: price is not competitive, bags are opaque so you cant see if your cats poo is "healthy," the box only comes with 10 sifting liners so you'd need 3 boxes for daily changes so it isnt cost effective at their current price point. All sifting liners are adding to the amount of plastic being throw so it is definitely bad for the environment since it doesnt say they are biodegradable or recycled plastic but if you just hate the time spent fishing for cat pee clumps & poo then sifting liners is the way to go.
