I don't like the smell of this dove. I still prefer nivea instead.

This product is great, just be aware that it's a thick ointment similar to a heavy zinc cream or Penaten Cream. It's an occlusive, rather than a straight moisturizer, and works best on moist skin, though I've used it on my face after using azelaic acid, went to bed, and woke up to nice skin. But it doesn't sink in, staying protectively on the surface like a zinc cream does. So be aware that your face will feel tacky and this may be hard on your pillowcase! I've been using it on my hands at night, as well as trying it on callouses on my dancer's feet, and I think it helps a bit to seal in moisture. But I AM disappointed to find that it DOES NOT smell like the original Dove or the pink bars, but instead like Dove's most basic bodywash: a generic soap smell. If you want a Dove cream that actually smells as lovely as the original light rose scent of the original or pink Dove bars, order the pink moisture cream in the flat jar. This is a wonderful thick pink cream that is a heavy moisturizer that sinks in immediately, leaving your skin smooth and beautifully scented. It is an old-fashioned moisturizer that can be used anywhere: I particularly like it for face and décolletage. Honestly, if it were less expensive, I would use it all over! It's wonderful stuff.
