Patchouli is one of my favourite smells, reninds me of my childhood - big sisters perfume at the time - this is nice but it's just not heady enough for me - I am still using it and it lasts absolutely ages

Great oil, but almost doubled in price.

I ordered lots of oils from Mystic Moments and of all of them this one seems to linger the longest, in a good way. I can only describe it as a smoky, woody smell and maybe even a slightly masculine smell but mixes well in some very feminine blends. It has many uses in skin care. Patchouli is good for anxiety and depression, skin and scalp complaints,fungal infections, cellulite, insect bites, and tissue regenerating (stimulating formation of new skin cells). Don't just throw it on your face undilluted, you mostly use it mixed in creams or in a carrier oil etc for which you will need a proper recipe. I haven't used it this way yet as I will wait to get a therapeutic grade essential oil (which I don't think this is due to the price and that it doesn't say it is). Then I will know I will get maximum benefit. I use it in blends in my oil burner. I like the smell, although some people might find it a bit overbearing? I hate heavy perfumes and thought it would be a bit much because other people said it can be but I haven't found that at all. It blends well with bergamot, clary sage and lavender (others too but these are the ones I have tried). It is supposed to be an aphrodisiac but I have yet to experience any first hand evidence of this!

Slightly fragrant, and less longevity, but affordable.

Really nice oil, smells great and lasts a long time. Well worth the price. I'll be ordering again soon!

A relaxing smell that's not too strong and seems to last.

This has a pleasant long lasting smell but it is not patchouli as I know it. It smells mintier. It's a nice smell, rather spa-like but it leaves me wondering if we received a mis-labelled one? I was hoping for the earthy headiness you get from a patchouli incense stick but without the cloud of fog, but this did not give that. I'm still looking for the perfect patchouli essential oil. As a lasting pleasant fragrance this one is nice.

Being a child of the 60's I love the smell of patchouli. So, when I opened the bottle and gently sniffed the fragrance, I was slightly disappointed. Yes, it was definitely patchouli, but somehow it wasn't quite right. Maybe my olfactory senses had changed in the intervening years but I wasn't 100% impressed. But, I had it, so a candle making I went. And am I glad I did! What a beautiful smell. You can literally smell it throughout the house, the smell travels that well. I will definitely purchase this one, though in a 50ml or 100ml if they do them. If you like patchouli I am certain you will be very happy with this, just don't be put off by the smell in the jar.

Das Mystic Moments Patchouli riecht sehr stark, man benötigt wirklich nur 2-3 Tropfen, habe es mir für meine Duftlampe gekauft und erstmal 5-6 Tropfen reingemacht, benutze es nun seit ein paar Tagen nicht mehr und es riecht immer noch überall nach Patchouli.
