Case Logic Sporty Backpack 14"

Short version: Fantastic Backpack at a fantastic price! Longer version: Prior to buying the Case Logic backpack, I had been looking for a LONG time for a backpack that combined a trio of key requirements: (1) Looked the part in a corporate environment (2) Had a good combination of zipped and inner pockets (3) Didn't cost the earth! If you pay enough, you can satisfy the above criteria with ease, but not everyone wants to be spending way north of £100 (or in some cases nearer double that) - I was beginning to wonder if there was a manufacturer that could put something together at a reasonable cost, and that's just when I stumbled across the Case Logic backpack! Let's look first at the trio of requirements: (1) Looks the part in a corporate environment - yes, does in spades - it's a matte black colour with some patterning on it, with red highlighting in some areas (2) Has a good combination of zipped and inner pockets - absolutely - there are three outer zipped pockets, and then two compartments - the main one has a separator for Laptop, and reasonable stowage for other items (3) Doesn't cost the earth - I think sub-£30 for this backpack is extremely reasonable given the quality of manufacture A few more positives also: the straps, which on some previous bags I've had appear to be made of Teflon, are very good on this bag. Also, the bag isn't too big, and is easily stowed in transit. And a few negatives (and it really is a few things only): there's no accounting for a water bottle of any kind. The case logic logo on the right strap seems out of place with the rest of the bag But overall - great bag at a very good price!

I have been searching for a laptop backpack that wouldn't make me look like I was a Ninja Turtle carrying my house on my back. I have upper back problems exacerbated by bad posture (desk work) and lugging laptops around for years in shoulder bags or in wheely cases. I almost succumbed to an expensive laptop backpack by a well known luggage brand one when I found this one on Amazon. At such a reasonable price, and with good reviews, I took a punt on it. It arrived this morning and I'm really impressed. It is really slim line in that it doesn't bulge out of your back making you look like a hunchback, but is also really robust and well made. With just my laptop and A4 notebook folder in it remains almost flat on my back. My laptop is around 30cmx20cm and it fits in with loads of room to spare. But it's chockablock with lots of other little discreet zippered pockets and I've stuffed it full of papers, phone, umbrella, water bottle, book, cables, laptop earphones etc and it barely bulges. It also looks quite nice - the quilted front is a nice touch. Very impressed so far! Edited to add - almost 2 years later it is still going strong and still looks like new even though it has travelled the world with me and been unceremoniously slung in all manner of overhead plane lockers, luggage racks and under seats on trains. I still haven't found another backpack to beat it.

I have had the same school bag for 2 years now and decided that I should buy a new one. After some research I came across this backpack and with its black and red colour scheme (which was the colours of my old bag) I really liked it. The bag is big and fits all my school work easily and feels nicely supported. It has many pockets, I don't know what to do with the two side pockets yet so I have to figure that out. Overall, a really nice and strong bag. Not essential for school but I like it for school. I would give it 4.5 stars but I can't so I am giving it 4. The reason being is that the straps are very weird and not to my liking with the being connected at the top. It is also slightly too big for me but I will sort that out soon I guess. Great quality bag, really recommended!

2 months on and the bag is still immaculate! It can fit many books even with a MacBook Pro 15" in it. There is a a separate pocket for laptops but it' still in the main zip compartment. Essentially a sponge separates the laptop slot and other objects you have in the bag. There are two small side pockets for fitting small things in e.g. keys, a snack etc, but not a bottle. It has a small pocket at the top to put maybe something you want quick access to again with a relatively small size maybe about a pocket notebook size item. Another small-medium sized pocket is situated in the second largest compartment. The second large compartment turns in at the bottom ind of like a cave so you fit things under there making room for a e.g. a folder to slot right to the bottom. There is a strap fastener so you don't have long straps flapping around while you have it on. It's really comfortable on your back and shoulder. Amazing product for the price it is! I usually fit about 4-5 books, a plastic folder (the one with the button on the front), my laptop, headphones, pencil case, water bottle, snacks, and lunchbox/sandwich/extra food and the bag still closes snuggly

I wanted a new bag as I travel a lot for work. Sometime I am away overnight and sometimes for 2 - 4 days and I had hoped that this would be suitable for the overnight trips. It can just fit a change of clothes plus a 13" notebook but once you add a charger or two, a tablet and some travel documents it starts to struggle. The next size up would have probably been a better fit for me. In terms of build and design however it is well made, protects my laptop well and looks good. But as I don't want to change bags all the time, this is getting less and less use. So, as a day bag I rate it highly but as an overnight bag it is less spacious than I need.

Avevo in precedenza acquistato questo zaino (andato perso durante un viaggio) e visto che mi ero trovato bene l'ho acquistato di nuovo. E' molto comodo e compatto, adatto a portare il portatile (fino a 15 pollici ci sta se senza problemi se non è troppo spezzo) e tutti gli accessori necessari. La fattura è ottima, materiali veramente di prima qualità, così come la maneggevolezza grazie alla maniglia centrale, alle bretelle modulabili (con la fibietta porta auricolari), alla tasca per gli occhiali e alle due tasche laterali (che però non sono adatte a portare bottiglie d'acqua). La tasca principale porta, come detto, un portatile protetto da una buona imbottitura più libri e giornali. La tasca frontale è ampia (per il caricatore, cavi e altri oggetti vari) e contiene una taschina interna con zip e degli scomparti per le penne, il cellulare, i biglietti da visita o altro. L'unica pecca forse è che non è impermeabile, ma non si può pretendere tutto. In ogni caso, il mio prossimo zaino sarà ancora questo modello o, se non disponibile, comunque uno zaino Case Logic!

ótima mochila. Encaixa bem ao corpo. Indicada para quem quer uma mochila pequena e que queira carregar quase tudo que precisa. Só não indico carregar muito peso.

J'utilise ce sac depuis un peu plus d'un mois. Pour l'instant je n'ai aucune trace d'usure, j'espère que cela va continuer, mais le produit a réellement l'air solide. Il comporte beaucoup de compartiments/poches, ce qui est très pratique ! Je peux réellement transporter tout mon nécessaire de travail sans soucis (ordinateur, bloc note, pochette, alimentation, chargeur de portable, pointeur laser, un peu de nourriture) sans que le sac ne soit trop chargé ! Parfaitement adapter pour embarquer un ordinateur 13-14 pouces dans un compartiment protégé, on peut également transporter un ordinateur 17 pouces sans soucis ! De plus, on ne ressent pas le poids du sac, même rempli, au niveau du dos, ce qui est très agréable. A voir sur le long termes, mais si il résiste bien à l'usure, on pourra affirmer que c'est un très bon produit avec un rapport qualité/prix au top.

Looks very good in the pics but the actual product isn't even close. The strange thing is that now I cannot even the 3000+ reviews of the product from the same buyer. Something isnt right

Ein Notebook-Rucksack sollte es sein, eher für den Alltag und vor Allem dazu geeignet, das viele Zubehör an einem Ort im Haus zu verstauen, diese Möglichkeit bietet mir das gute Stück. Die jeansartige Außenhaut fühlt sich wertig an, die Nähte gut verarbeitet. Das Notebook sitzt hinten im Fach und reicht nicht bis auf den Boden (schützt vor Stößen beim Abstellen), ein MacBook Air 13 mit Schutzhülle passt gut hinein, ebenso ein iPad Air 2 im SmartCase, welches davor im Tablet-Fach Platz findet. Im Innern gibt es eine recht große Tasche, Ordner werden es aber eng haben. Darin ist noch ein Netzfach auf der Innenseite, davor von außen zugänglich zwei Reißverschlussfächer auf beiden Höhen. Etwas komisch ist die Flappe, welche vorne über den unteren Reißverschluss und die kleinen Fronttaschen reicht. Diese haben Magnetverschlüsse und sollten sicher nicht für Wertsachen verwendet werden. Ohne Inhalt wirkt der Rucksack sehr flach, das täuscht aber. Im Hauptfach können schon mehrere Zentimeter Platz geschaffen werden. Allerdings muss man beachten, dass Notebook und Tablet Platz vom Innenraum beanspruchen. Besonders gut gelungen finde ich die Öffnung, ein Reißverschlussmechanismus ohne störende Klappe. Die Bügel halten ihn auf und so kann man ihn gut beladen. Mich hat das Gesamtpaket überzeugt, nicht zu groß und dennoch viel Platz. Als Daypack gut geeignet, für ein Wochenende allerdings zu klein.
