At first I was a little too cautious with how much I used, so didn't see the benefit. Feel free to be generous with the amount you use, like, "uh-oh, this is definitely too much, it's going to show up in my hair" kind of amount... because it won't. It smells really nice, leaving your hair with a faint "clean hair smell" that lasts all day, but is totally not intrusive. I've also noticed that, on a lazy day when I don't wash my hair, it seems to leave my hair less greasy (or just hides it well) on day 2 than using no product.
