What dosage would i need for a 45 litre tank please

I prepare my water in 10 litre buckets, I put 5 drops in each bucket of water before adding to the tank. So for 45 litres of fresh water you would need 23 drops. The bottle comes with a flip lid and a small hole so it is very easy to dispense one drop at a time. It doesn’t seem a lot but it works, the best you can buy. I never use anything else. Hope this helps.

I’ve been trying to cycle a new sponge filter 60 litre freshwater tank and nitrites level is high. Can this product help reduce nitrite levels?

Yes it will, but reducing nitrates isn't it's main feature, do small daily or every 2 days water changes, the levels have to spike before they drop,add some fish food even if the tank is empty and also check the tap water levels.

Prime is very concentrated. You only need 10ml to treat 400 Litres! most other products require about 10ml to treat 40 L. So it lasts about 10 times as long as them. If its double the price... that's still 5 times better value. Prime also detoxifies ammonia and nitrite.

do you need to use this every 48 hours? or just the once then every week when doing a 20% water change?

If you want to use this specifically to detoxify high levels of nitrite, nitrate etc, then you need to dose every 48 hours. If you wish to use it to condition water change water, then you only need to add it to the water that you're putting into the aquarium.
