I should've gotten this LONG AGO. I could barely cut the tape (nice packaging btw) on the bubble wrap to unpackage this with my dull kitchen knives!!I ordered it yesterday and it already arrived today!! It's super high quality, I am impressed with it. I followed the instructional video from their site, there's a card that came in the box with a link to online instructions. Before I finished sharpening all of my kitchen knives, I did a test with one that was still dull and one I freshly sharpened. It slices significantly better after being sharpened (obviously), but I was honestly shocked to see how dull my knives really have become. These knives were apparently supposed to stay sharp "forever"...The knives now cut through anything effortlessly. I've even sliced up the cardboard box this came in just because I was so amused at how sharp the blades are now.The hands down best part about this, is that under normal circumstances my wife would've eventually just shown up to the house with another $300 set of knives, and discarded these others because they were "dull". So not only did I beat the system NOW by spending $25 and saving myself $300 in doing so, but since this block seems like it's going to last forever, future generations of my offspring will save themselves money as well haha. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No longer the dullest tool in the shed. *by I***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2018* I never quite noticed how dull our kitchen knives really were until I used this item. before using them they would barley slice through the edge of a piece of paper cleanly. Now they are razor sharp and saved me money on a new set of knives!The item came neatly packaged. The base is made of wood and has a non-slip material on the bottom. Between the wood and the stone is a rubber gasket to keep the stone in place. These two items are nice touches as the first step of the process is to wet the stone. Something I would have known the first time I used it had I actually bothered to read the instructions. I usually only do so AFTER messing with things on my own. Anyway after going to the website and reading the instructions and watching the video I went through and completed sharpening the rest of my knives. The video is a nice touch for those who don't like to read. The included guide is great for those who want to use it or in case you have a double edged knife. I have a bunch of knives for work and they get dull pretty quickly. I used to sharpen with a bench grinder, but they did more harm then good. Within a couple minutes I was able to get my knives sharp. The first one I did I was pretty amazed by how good it was going and I was only doing the corset stone. I then switched over to the finer stone and to be honest I don't ever remember these knifes being that sharp, even new.
