Kynup 8 Inch Caliper, Micrometer Digital Caliper Measuring Tool

Love this I use it all the time for measuring items that I need to 3D print. very precise and the digital display with in or mm option it key. Depth scale is great too, helped me troubleshoot I was having with my tractor pistons.

For the price I’d say it can be beat. Works perfectly and easy to use. Recommend if needing a budget friendly caliper.

Works great for what I do… it’s well made and if it’s off at all it’s not enough to be an issue for me. It’s a little clunky - but I ordered the longer one… I liked it enough I’m getting the shorter one too.

My favorite feature is that you can switch from millimeters to inches to inch-fractions, no more having to use a calculator to convert them with my old, plastic analog calipers. Battery life is iffy--I'm not sure if the battery in the unit were old but they didn't last long. At least it came with a spare set of batteries! It's a good caliper and should be durable in the long run (though I don't use them often at all).

I use this for measuring ear gauges and vintage camera lenses. Although it's cheap, it's built well. It comes with a tiny screwdriver and extra batteries. The batteries are great. In fact, I'm still on the battery that came inside of it. I cannot for the life of me read the non digital calipers lol. This one makes getting measurements a breeze. It's also very accurate which is nice.

I bought this for two reasons. I wanted one that was a bit longer than the standard 6". Also, I wanted one that had fractional inch measures, not just decimal inches. I know how to convert them, but this eliminates a step that can be annoying when I'm in the middle of a task. It is well made and does what I wanted.

This caliper is very well made. The case is nice. The caliper measures in metric and imperial units, fraction or decimal. Accuracy is equal to my much more expensive dial caliper. The only very minor issue is the case is a dull black and hard to see in low light conditions. However, that is no reason not to purchase this excellent tool.

UPDATE: When it gets glitchy it's time to switch the battery. Started out well but a couple months later the screen is very glitchy (continuously switching between illegible display) and won’t turn off. I’ve tried pulling the battery but the same behavior happens as soon as the battery is replaced.
