Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet Set - 3 Piece, Includes 8 Inch, 10.25 Inch and 12 Inch Skillets

I love these AMERICAN cast iron pans. I washed them in hot soapy water dried them and put them on the hob to dry them completely. Then I gave them a good oiling while they were hot. I googled how to take care of them. I used the very big one as was making a very big shepherds pie. At first I thought oh the meat is sticking, but actually I just ran the spoon across the pan and all was fine. cooked the meat perfect. I love the fact I can use metal utensils on them and not to have to worry about the coating as it’s not like non stick. So if you are going to buy these cast iron pans you need to learn how to take care of them so you get the best out of them for the rest of your life. Thank you America. I’m only little and well into my 70s more nearer 80 and I used the biggest one and still managed even though it’s pretty heavy for a little thing like myself. The biggest one is heavy.Just never forget to use oven gloves at all times as the handles naturally get hot. They really are great pans.

Las he estado usando las últimas semanas. Y me parcen increíbles. Son muy resistentes La comida no se pega, calientan bien y puedes cocinar lo que sea en ellos. Una vez aprendes a curarlo y cuidarlos bien no hay nada que los pare.

I bought this set of 3 pre-seasoned cast iron frypans at my husband's request, and upon the recommendation of my friend, who loves her Lodge skillet. My husband has been using the pans daily and he loves them, they do a great job of cooking a steak (yum!). Even though they are pre-seasoned, he likes to season them himself just to keep them in tip-top condition, and finds them very easy to look after. They are heavy though and might be difficult for anyone who has a hand or arm weakness. They also get very hot, including the handles - I bought silicon handle covers for them, very useful and necessary to avoid burns. I thought the 3-pan deal on Amazon was very good value.
