this stuff really does work. Don’t overuse as it can cause super painful and bleeding chemical burns. It smells a bit fishy if you don’t let it dry before getting dressed. But it really does work and the peeling is intense. I exfoliate 1-2 times during shedding. Don’t over exfoliate that will cause irritation too

I’ve been using this now a couple of months and it has made a huge difference to my bikini line. I’ve always suffered with ingrown hairs and sore itchy bumps after hair removal of any kind and have tried a few ‘ingrown hair solutions’ but nothing has worked except this one. I would say it’s got rid of about 75-80% of problems in my bikini area and has helped massively. I am hoping it will only improve with continued use. It does make my skin peel, which I have to gently exfoliate away when showering but it hasn’t been painful in any way so this hasn’t stopped me from using the product.

This product works! It's expensive, yes, but personally I'm prepared to pay for a product if it works. I appreciate it might not work for everyone, but if you have problem in growing hairs I think the price is worth a shot! I have used it every other day and before and after waxing and have not had a single problem in growing hair since. It really does make hairs come out more easily if applied at least 1/2 hour before waxing and I've used it on sensitive areas of the body no problem. It does make the skin a little dry, but nothing a little moisturiser won't fix. Regarding how long it lasts,if using on legs potentially not too long, but I've found you don't need to be meticulous with covering everywhere each time used. I used to spend ages 'digging out' ingrown hairs and making an embarrassing mess, but I haven't had to do that since I've had this product. Definitely worth a try.

Did absolutely nothing, waste of money!!!!

I will try and give an honest opinion about this product and try to address some of the points raised in the other reviews About me: I have dark skin I have been using this for 8 months on my underarm & bikini area I'm not sure whether some reviews are genuine or fake, but I never got results like the pictures showed. I've suffered from ingrown hair for the longest time & nothing worked for me to prevent them and I've ended up with lots of pigmentation & scarring as a result. This product has worked wonderfully to prevent the ingrown hairs. Like some people have said, the product does seem to darken the skin initially. But for me, that layer eventually peels off revealing brighter fresh skin underneath, so I think it's best to allow the product time to work. Whilst it does lighten up the whole area a bit, I have not seen any difference to my dark spots. At first, I used the product once a day, but my skin became way too sensitive. So I reduced it to once every 2 days and it's been fine, no burning. I also experienced burning when I tried to combine it with another product. I do not recommend others suggesting to use it twice daily or in combination with other exfoliants as this would irritate the skin. Hope this helps anyone wanting an honest review before deciding if it's worth spending the money. I am a bit disappointed I didn't get the wow results I was hoping for when I read other reviews & bought this product, but I'll keep using it because it definitely works for my ingrown hair

I have tried a lot of different products on my legs over the last two years. Nothing worked and the problem got worse. I suffered from painful ingrowing hairs then developed into big purple scars all over both legs. I was becoming really upset about this. I seen a doctor and skin specialist, who very both kind but did not recommend any products to deal with the problem. I read the reviews on the PFB vanish and decided I had nothing to loose. I have been using this product twice a day for three weeks. Although the problem has not disappeared, my legs look much better. The dark purple scars are much smaller and fading. This is by far the best product I have used. The product does sting slightly when it is first applied and can dry the skin out a little. However, I would highly recommend this and will keep using it in the hope that I can bear my legs this summer for the first time in years!

I use it around my bikini line, vajayjay, and underarms for pigmentation and there's no reaction apart from peeling and slight tingling. Peeling process took a bit longer for me than usual. Mine took 3 weeks unlike others were within a week. Some parts are now absolutely LIGHTER (same as my asian skin tone) but most parts are still on process. Will still give 5 stars as I know IT WORKS 👌🏼

Sorry in advance this is a long post. Hopefully this will help those who have experienced poor results with this product and prevent future issues. My background: I have been using this product for roughly 10 years. I use it for ingrown hair prevention on face and body, pigmentation issues, and general exfoliation. I have PCOS, and other hormonal imbalance issues so unwanted hair has always been an issue for me. I purchased this after a coworker asked if I had hickeys all over my neck😭😩, yes I had cyst sized bumps and concealer made them worse. This product IS A MIRACLE! There are some instructions with the original formula packaging but it is very basic. PFB works using salicylic acid in 2 forms and other ingredients to cause chemical exfoliation, similar to the action a facial peel uses. That means when you put it on IT MAKES YOUR SKIN PEEL over time. This information may seem obvious to some, but is lost on others (see negative reviews). With that being said, peeling is a good thing that's what prevents ingrown hairs. PFB gives fantastic results but can easily cause irritation, burning, redness and unattractive peeling if not handled correctly. TIPS: NEVER put this on wet skin this can cause superficial burns that take time to heal, pain, itchiness, and irritated areas. LET YOUR SKIN DRY AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE APPLYING. If you use this after any form of hair removal and you are unsure if your skin will be sensitive, try a light moisturizer and again allow to dry completely before application of PFB. Originally the product stated to apply leave for 5 to 15 minutes, rinse and moisturize. You can do this if you desire only light exfoliation, otherwise apply a light even coat and rub into the area and leave on. I use within 2 hours of hair removal consistently. I have ZERO ingrown hairs or blemishes IF I stay consistent. I noticed when I first started using it that I would have peeling in any areas within roughly 2 days, worse after applying lotion it would quickly become obviously dry and peel. Unacceptably embarrassing, so I began using a good quality mechanical exfoliant and it cleared the peeling right up after the first use (I add a small amount of microdermabrasion crystals to my facewash because they are rounded and cause less irritation). I also take my finger and apply a tiny amount of PFB to any small blemishes and they are gone quickly. Finally use good moisturizer as a final step for consistent results but make sure it doesn't have retinol or a similar exfoliant at least until you know how your skin reacts with this product. After I started using it, I would apply rub in and and go to bed. My husband asked what the sour smell was about the third day.......ugh. Yes it has a kind of vinegar smell, it goes away but takes maybe 30 minutes. For me not a deal breaker and the source of some entertainment at times. Also the texture is kind of sticky for about the same amount of time it takes the smell to go away, still completely worth it. This works, it's worth every penny.
