The ps3 came, as detailed in the ad, fully working and with all the cables. The note that was placed on the outside of the bubble wrap was a nice little touch. It made me feel like I had actually helped someone out with my purchase. Like I said a nice touch.

Ordering was easy enough I enquired about possibly receiving Coop games I was sent a reply same day saying they would have a look for me so another star for quick response. Received various updates and information about tracking which is fortunates as the package arrived 3 days earlier than the expected in a sturdy well packaged box. PS3 Condition: Been pre-owned the condition was as I expected sturdy with obvious tiny scratches on the panelling, the back panelling itself was a bit loose but easily clicked back into place, the disk tray cover also had a bit of personality to it and sometimes requires a little extra nudge to ensure it is closed but is otherwise fine. When turned the software has been returned to factory settings and will take 10 minutes or so to quickly update to get it up and running. The games I received were Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, not exactly what I was expecting but both couch coop which is what I asked for and both disks were spotless with no marks or scratches. All cables were provided including a double charge cable for the controller which pleased me greatly though the controller itself is the reason this is only receiving 4 stars. So good seller but it you are picky about your controllers send the seller an email and make sure you know what you are getting.

after 5 years of xbox 360 i decided to move to another generation but instead choose ps4 i decided to bought a ps3(and i will bought in the future a wii u to put near it) , why i took a ps3 ? well now is cheaper and her games as well, i am tired of shooter and fighter games i prefer now platform and particular games with some exception , and there is a plenty of exclusive such like the whole ratchet and clank series , jax and daxter trilogy, sly trilogy, puppeteer,wipeout HD little big planet series, metal gear solid 4,the last of us ecc. , and i forget it there are a lot of ps one classic game like final fantasy XII ,IX crash bandicoot and spyro series(i bought these one for first game) , i could never imagined how much exclusive game the sonys' console hold , the ps3 super slim is very light and small i was surprise,and i did not find the casing too much cheaper as well i like it the new disk insertion remenber me my childhood when i had the ps one my first console. Set up was easy as well and i found the menu more beautiful than Microsoft console i liked the controller i dont find so much difference from xbox360 controller , i did not tried the blue ray drive so i don't know yet the level of noises because most of the game i will buy by digital delivery , and in that case the console is very very quietly, i appreciate it i can buy from playstation network with the paypal system is more safely now than before so if you want a very good game system took a this one you will be not disappointed

This is my second PS3 that I bought for practice matters, just living in UK from few months. I have the previous model also with 160Gb (J chassis type) and all that I have to say is: Compared to the previous we got more space (465 Gb that you can effectively use) but performance are still the same. The worst in my opinion is the drive bay because internal is better than external bay for dust reasons and delicate parts that are logically more exposed to possible damages (do you remember the PS1? I had to change the lens after 1 year of use) such the optic lens itself. That's probably the way Sony makes everything cheap at least, because is a company that tends to subtract mechanics parts, logically more useful in terms of hi-tech efficiency. I'm still scared about the original pad (very delicate design indeed) and the overall quality is fair anyway (I got a "used like new" policy), considering that I had no problems at all to get access with my old account, then downloading all my old apps. If this is your very first time for a PS3, this one is considerable but if you can find the previous (a "J" type chassis is preferable) model with the internal bay design (and the possibility to eject the disc via software also) is better. I was nervous and skeptical buying a used PS3, but there were a lot of good reviews, so I trusted them. I got the PS3 quickly and even though it was dirty and scratched up, it runs really well. I got it for a Christmas gift for my husband because he has a bunch of games that are his favorite and can only be played on the PS3. We had a PS3 years ago, but it fried and died. Because this is a meaningful gift I wanted it to look nice, so I had my 19 year old daughter, who loves to do nails, draw, and paint, work her magic on this PS3 for her dad. She detail cleaned it, buffed scratches out, and then she painted, and resined scenes from one of my husband's favorite movies on the sides of the PS3. It covered the flaws and made it personalized for him. I know he's going to love it even more now!
