Wonderful Replacement Remote for your OEM Remote RM-PJ25
If you are reading this, odds are you own a Sony Projector with 3D function (see listing for projectors supported). My projector is a VPL-HW40ES. If your original remote (RM-PJ25), then you will love this remote! . There are some differences of course since is not a Sony made product, but this remote works perfectly out of the box and does everything exactly as the OEM remote does. The most obvious but minor differences are the backlight is amber instead of white. This remotes backlight is actually brighter than Sony's after several years of use. This remotes backlight is a bit uneven, but it gets the job done with no issues. Also you will notice the power button printing has less contrast than the OEM. This remote lacks the red plastic cover over the emitter. But none of this should slow you down from ordering this awesome remote. My OEM remote has a couple of buttons getting rather sluggish with age. This new replacement remote is snappy and performs every function exactly as the OEM report does. The price is very good, the product is well worth it even if your OEM remote is still working. I would buy this replacement as a backup or a way to save your oem remote for the next owner of your Sony projector. Check out the photos for a comparison.
