StarTech DisplayPort to HDMI Video Adapter Black

Works great on my Dell Latitude E6510. The screen resolution is a bit off, and I get the picture exceeding the screen, but that's probably because I'm connecting my high resolution Dell to a 42" 1080p screen, and the resolutions don't match. Has nothing to do with the cable. It's well built, arrived in time and works just as expected. I saw some 1-star reviews complaining about being mislead to think this is a USB adapter. The item's title clearly reads "DisplayPort to HDMI", not USB! It's also very visible that the slanty Shape of the DisplayPort connector is NOT an USB one (also it doesn't say USB anywhere in the product's description).

Unlike some cheaper audio/video adapters, this one is well constructed, does not feel cheap and stays together with use. The short lead between the connectors is useful for navigating tight spaces, where a simpler block style adapter would take up too much depth.

2nd attempt on getting a HDMI to DP adapter for my monitor and this one so far works a treat! EDIT: It started having major issues about 11 months after I got it, monitors regularly losing display feed when i'd close down video games or flickering on and off a bunch. Gonna see if they'll honor the 3-year warranty mentioned on the packaging.

Does as it says, good quality picture, with no signal issues, still get same speed of picture, it’s easy to use and great value for money

Great Cable, connected my Dell Laptop to my HDMI TV and worked just like I needed it to! Of course you also need n HDMI to HDMI cable to make it work, but that was pretty cheap and nicely recommended by Amazon anyway!!

When connected to HD TV, it trims about half-inch from each side and top & bottom. As a result, cannot see the taskbar of the windows. Otherwise, it works. Nevertheless, because I could not see the full screen, I had to return it. Instead, I am using DisplayPort to VGI converter. it works perfectly.

Works a treat for turning a non-DP spec screen into one by changing the port on the PC from DP to HDMI. However, please note, I did try my CV1 Rift and it didn't work. These things are notoriously fussy anyway so just meant swapping a few cables around but something to remember if that's specifically why you're thinking of buying this.

This and an Hdmi-Hdmi lead were brought to extend my PC to my TV. Regrettably I don't have sound, which I don't think is down to either lead but the output from the PC. Other then this the pair work together fine. Unfortunate I could not get them both from the same supplier. Prompt delivery and all does as it should

Très bon adaptateur, typique de la qualité StarTech. La conversion DisplayPort vers HDMI est stable, sans scintillement ni coupures d’image, même sur de longues sessions. La résolution Full HD est parfaitement prise en charge, avec une image nette et fluide. La compatibilité est excellente avec la majorité des PC, stations de travail et cartes graphiques équipées en DisplayPort. Le branchement est simple (plug and play), sans besoin de pilotes. La construction est robuste, ce qui inspire confiance pour un usage régulier.

Necessario per collegare un portatile fornito stranamente di un poco comune ingresso DisplayPort verso un monitor con HDMI o verso un televisore esterno. Impossibile da trovare nei negozi. Funziona molto bene sia per il video che per l'audio indipendentemente dal sistema operativo usato nel portatile (linux o windows). All'inizio ne avevo ordinato da Amazon una marca meno costosa (Rankie, rivenditore esterno) ma l'oggetto non è mai arrivato (rimborso ottenuto velocemente). Il convertitore della StarTech è invece arrivato in pochi giorni ed e' risultato di ottima fattura.

Cable de muy buena calidad. Los materiales son rígidos y se ve que son duraderos. La imagen y el sonido se transmiten bastante bien.
