Good Product

Terminal strips are nice enough and will work well in applications that are not subject to corrosive environments. The strip is built well land the base plate is nickle plated brass. The screws are plated steel which makes them not preferable for the marine environment. Like wise the connectors do not grip the screws so are also not suitable for use on a boat.

Works best for HO layouts

your average, standard terminal block: 2 circuit. worked extremely well in providing a punch down for my capacitor into existing wiring.

I used this inside a four by four steel electric box on a trailer to wire the tail and marker lights for a trailer. It was small enough to easily fit in the box, and provided more than enough room for the multiple cables to be wired. The four circuits allowed for right and left brake/turn light, marker lights, and backup lights, with the box ground lug serving as a quality, semi-protected ground for all four. Welding the box to the frame after using stove bolts to fasten this to the back of the box provided a great ground to the frame. The provided spade connectors will fit up to 12 gauge wire if you are careful, and allow the wires to be connected without removing the screw from the block--nice feature if you've ever spent ten minutes searching for a dropped screw.
