I bought this and wonder what awg gauge wire would be best to use for Electric. going use it for boat trailer with battery in boot of car** A: I use mine for pretty much the same purpose but with a battery fixed to the tow-bar of the boat trailer. I quickly ditched wire rope, though and substituted woven nylon - much better and easier to handle. It’s about 6mm in diameter. The boat is a 5 metre Viking with a 40 hp motor on the back so no lightweight **Q: If I use two winches in close proximity (within 3 - 5m) would the remotes interfere with each other units? Do they have different frequencies / codes?** A: They are a good winch but all the remotes are the same but if you get in touch with the supplier they will advise you more **Q: Doest is come with a fuse? other wise what amp fuse should i use?** A: I have had two to date , and never bothered with a fuse, just connect direct to 12v battery on my race trailer. Arrived promptly. ### ⭐ Awful *by A***R on 25 July 2024* I purchased the Rhino 3000 in Dec 2022. It was trouble from day one. The remotes don't work unless you're stood within about four foot of the winch, it stops and starts if you're further than that away. It's biggest down fall is that it eats it's own cable on a regular basis. The cable gets in-between the drum and motor. It's survived until this morning to be fair but this morning was the last time it ate it's own cable and now the drum is completely destroyed. Disappointed doesn't come close. The.
