This Intex Metal Frame Rectangular Swimming Pool is excellent and has been a brilliant addition for hot weather. The frame feels sturdy and well-built, and once assembled it holds its shape really well even when filled. The rectangular design gives more usable swimming space compared to round pools, which makes it great for both kids and adults to enjoy. Setup is fairly straightforward, and the instructions are clear enough for a quick assembly. The pool liner feels durable, and overall it handles regular use without issues. It’s the perfect size for a garden setup and provides a really refreshing way to cool down in summer. Overall, it’s great value for money, strong, practical, and perfect for family fun at home.

It’s perfect! I thought I might regret getting the smaller size but it’s actually perfect! Easy to put but and big enough for adults can sit in it to cool down my son (4) isn’t out of his depth in it. This is an absolute bargain and will mean we’ll spend so much more time in the garden this summer!

This is year 2 of the pool and its holding up well. First off, we got this for a really good price last Summer. We went for just the pool itself as a couple of years before we got one of the circular ones with the inflatable top and that came with a basic filter but this was pretty poor. This time around, a lot of chlorine, manual skimming and occasional use of the pond vac to clean the floor and sides and do a bit of filtering! We've had to empty and refill once so far as it did sit neglected for a couple of weeks, so that was our fault. Pool is a good size for kids. I can sort of swim in it but do bang my knees on the bottom! Seems pretty sturdy and we have now assembled, taken apart, and re-assembled with no issues. We did find a small hole in the lining but it was quite crudely bundled up and shoved in a shed, so I'm not surprised. However, it's near the top and the supplied repair kit has so far done its job. Have noticed a bit of rust on the frame poles. This seems to be where they slot in to each other so I think the protective paint has been scraped off when inserting them and this is where a bit of rust has set in. Doesn't look too bad but only time will tell. I guess you could just treat the effected bits with Hammerite or something but I imagine the liner will go before the frame. Draining is a bit of a pain as the drain hole is not right at the base of the pool so you have a couple of inches of water left in the bottom. Some of this can be enticed down the drain by lifting the pool end up and generating some waves, but will certainly not get rid of all. For that you'll need to bucket out, or, use a pond vac if you have one. It's surprising how heavy even an inch of water is so you can't really take this apart properly until fully empty. For the price we paid, we were happy for it to last one long Summer. To get another is a bonus and to be fair, now we've done it, there's no reason to think it won't do next year at least either. The only thing I would say is drain it, clean it and store it before the weather turns. We didn't and it ended up sitting out in the garden for several weeks in the terrible Autumn weather. This resulted in a quite filthy liner and it took a lot of cleaning. Only downside for me is that I now want a bigger one. With a sand filter. And robo cleaner. And skimmer............

Sturdy frame and & easy to put together

Been a great pool to use this summer. Easy to put together and quite sturdy. Grateful for not having to worry about constantly pump it up. Definitely make sure your surface is pebble free as anything sharp will easily pierce the pool, but repair kit has worked well and have only had to patch once.

This was very easy to assemble!My daughter put it together… my kids have had fun in the boiling British summer heat! We used to dislike the summer heat! Now we love it!! lol Bring on the British boiling summer heat!! There is no need to inflate anything nor fear of punctures, nor loose air! This is an awesome piece of kit! Ich habe den INTEX „Metal Frame“ Pool gekauft, um den Sommer im Garten zu überleben – und ich sag’s direkt: Aufbau überraschend gut. Wirklich. Ich bin normalerweise jemand, der schon bei IKEA-Anleitungen emotional wird. Aber hier: verständlich, logisch, keine unnötigen Dramen. Ich war fast enttäuscht, dass ich nichts anschreien musste. Die Metallkonstruktion wirkt stabil, alles greift sauber ineinander – kein „hä, wo gehört das hin?“ Kurz gesagt: Selbst ich habe es geschafft. Das sagt alles. Das Befüllen dauert wie immer ein bisschen, aber das gehört ja zum Ritual. Man steht daneben, schaut zu und fühlt sich plötzlich wie ein Projektleiter im Bereich „Wasser“. Und dann: rein ins Wasser – sofortige Belohnung. Abkühlung top, Stimmung top, Sommer gerettet. Kleiner Realitätscheck: Fürs Seepferdchen reicht es trotzdem nicht. Ich habe es versucht – zwei Züge, Wandkontakt. Karriere beendet. Aber zum Planschen, Entspannen und „Ich habe einen Pool“-Gefühl absolut perfekt. Einziger „Nachteil“: Man entwickelt plötzlich Stolz auf einen Pool im eigenen Garten. Ich habe ernsthaft überlegt, Eintritt zu verlangen. Fazit: Einfacher Aufbau, stabile Qualität und jede Menge Spaß – auch ohne Schwimmabzeichen. 5 Sterne, weil ich selten so stressfrei etwas aufgebaut habe, das mich danach so glücklich gemacht hat.

Sturdy! We sat on the corners when only soaking our legs. Set up was easy with the help of my mom. Make sure the area you will place it is level. We placed it on the grass, it was easy to move around when empty. once its filled a couple of inches you can see if its level or not. We loved it and whoever saw it always asked where we got it. I saw a few videos on youtube regarding maintaining it, bought pucks, brushed it daily but once I got a dollarstore tarp for it the maintenance was cut down a lot! It was covered nightly and when not in use. We only needed to change the water once - it was not covered, rained all week and the water went green. I also got a special sponge to pick up oils etc. Get a basic pump to keep it clean and inviting. Well worth the investment. Can't wait until next summer! I have yet to pack it up this year so will update if any issues.
