“Good for 12 years,” and the band starts at 2022. So if you want to buy a stamp that is actually good for as long as the listing says, it’s not this one. But ten years will work for me.

I don't really know what kind of time frame I was expecting the product to work but it certainly was not one week. After the ink became kind of dry the stamp also started smudging/blurring the text. I was originally satisfied with it but that is all. It did the well enough though not the exact color nor size that I wanted; the ink either should have been a deeper purple (this is a violet) and/or bigger text size to make up for the lighter colored ink. It is also not obvious (nor does it come with instructions) which way to have the stamp flipped so that the text is the correct side up. I just really wanted a non standard colored stamp since that seemed fun for me but the quality of this thing is ridiculous. Do not even bother.

Saw a few bad reviews, but decided to give it a shot. Sadly, I will be sending this back. The wheels to adjust the stamp are very flimsy and if they turn at all, they don't reliably advance the text. My fingers were covered in ink just trying to change the date, but the wheels are too shallow even with my small hands. Once I had positioned the stamp to test it, which was awkward because there wasn't the typical "click in place" feeling one normally gets with a date stamp, the image didn't imprint well even though it was lined up, and my test page was on a flat hard surface.

Leaks on my hands habitually

The manufacturing tolerances on the housing are too large to generate a consistent stamp. In some of the stamps it comes out well. Sometimes it comes out smudged. Look for the wobble in the mechanism. This could be fixed by tightening the tolerances on the manufacturing drawings.
