Review: These boots were bought for my son, - He had bought identical ones 6 years ago from a trade fair, they have been really good quality and wanted another pair. Hopefully these last as long. Very comfortable and well finished. Review: 2 pairs tried..both failed in a few weeks - These boots are very comfy and the design is great but...the build quality is rubbish. I bought a pair for daily walks to school with the kids and general wear..nothing too hardcore. Within 3 weeks they had torn where the suede upper meets the sole (at the heel). The sole had also started to collapse beneath the heel of the other boot. (The soles are not solid, they are a box construction which has very little strength and as soon as it weakens, collapses meaning the boots are useless..or at least damn painful). I returned them and the second boots did exactly the same thing, this time in 8 weeks. If they were cheap, I'd be ok with the flimsy construction but at £60+, I won't be buying again. They arent waterproof in case ur working outdoors in them but are very comfortable and lightweight. **Q: Are they steel toe capped** A: No, not steel toe capped. Comfy but not that long lasting, the sole came off mine after three months. They were very comfortable though. **Q: Are they leather?** A: part leather, and part man made balance that is what it says in the boot, I think they are great. **Q: UK size 5 women's shoe, what size would be suitable in this tactical boot?** A: Afraid they are small sizes compared to English size.
