It’s sometimes hard to find the best quality product for items such as this hollow punch set as there seems to be so many similar products to choose from. So I opted for this set and must say I cannot fault it as it is sharp and does the job it was designed for. Punches a clean hole through leather, paper and cloth which is what I bought the set for. Okay, it’s not Japanese or German or Sandvik steel but it seems to be holding a sharp edge even after punching several dozen holes in various thicknesses of leather. All in all I’m very happy with my purchase.

I bought these to punch holes in 100gsm card. Pros: reasonable price, handy storage box. Cons: cutting edge is not very precise or sharp (couldn't cut through more than 3 layers of card without serious effort), the card tended to get lodged and occasionally a pain to remove it. Overall: would recommend but almost only because they just did the job. They're not expensive so if you won't use them often then a reasonable purchase. If you'll use them a lot, want nice ones or need to rely on them more then I would definitely recommend a different (probably more expensive) set.

First time I've bought anything like this, but very pleased. Clear cuts, easy to hold and all presented in a handy case.

Used these for masking holes on PCBs before spraying. ie to punch holes in tape. Have used them now at least every month for last 3 years, - recommended

There are a whole variety of cheap hollow punches on Amazon - hard to know precisely what you're getting. These are relatively inexpensive. They are pretty rough around the edges but all came sharp enough to use. It is important to use them properly [go end-grain on to a wood offcut as a base to cut on] and they work well and seem to keep their edge.

One of those bits of kit that you hardly ever use but when you do need it the hours of fiddling saved is worth every penny.

Que no sirve para taladrar sobre superficies bien estabilizadas no sujetas a vibraciones, ni sobre bases muy duras como metales, puesto que a pesar de ser de acero templado pierden el filo. Es conveniente poner por debajo de la superficie a taladrar una madera dura o otra superficie algo menos dura que el propio sacabocados.
