Great CD

Speedy delivery and well packaged CD. Best of Part 1. Unfortunately I only saw Best of. Did'nt realise only Part 1. Heaven knows I'm miserable now seems appropriate as its missing from this collection. But still a brilliant Smiths CD.

This is gem of album. Every track is genius, effortlessly combining morriseys tongue in cheek lyrics with deft musicianship. A joy to listen to from start to finish, this is also most accessible album for those that never 'got' the smiths. It's the breadth and scope of songwriting here that never fails to impress, from the self deprecatory 'rubber ring' with its myriad guitar overdubs to the exhilarating bombast of 'Sheila take a bow', it's gripping stuff indeed. Well worth the money.

Bought best 2 as well. Never had any smiths in my music collection although I have always liked their music. Love both albums.

Amei o cd, amo the smiths e as músicas deles, a loja na qual comprei foi super atenciosa e me mandou bem embaladinho, cheio de plástico bolha e ainda colocaram um paninho para o cd não arranhar. Amei esse cd e ele completa o II na qual achei a ideia incrível. Esses cds são perfeitos pq são baratos (comparado ao resto dos cds deles) e tem várias músicas famosas da banda e da para aproveitar bem.

I also found volume 2 on Amazon so I picked it up as well. My original one was looking a little tattered, so I figured if I was going to get Vol 1 , I may as well buy the Vol II as well. I am very pleased to have been able to replace these. They are getting harder to find especially the original issue versions. These two CDs are basically like "The Greatest Hits" collection of one of Manchester's greatest bands. I would agree with a lot of other reviewers about both of the CDs. They are really not the "best of " as far as the song collections, but if you are like me, you want every thing one of your favorite bands puts out. I have almost everything they ever released except for the complete collection. I think it is a little crazy for me to pay over $400.00 for something that I have most of the original releases of. It is a nice set, but I own just about every single and vinyl release that is offered in the set. I am considering buying the latest box set as the vinyl is 180 gram and there is a big difference in the sound quality of the thicker vinyl than that of the original releases, as long as they are remastered correctly.

El empaque es muy sencillo pero sin duda fue emocionante abrirlo, contiene las letras para cada canción, y aparte el producto fue manufacturado en Alemania y no en México, lo que por supuesto es mejor tomando en cuenta el precio.
