Great, fine gain seasoning with an umami hit
Excellent flavour, salty and savoury. Best used as a post-dry seasoning in moderation (I use 1tsp per 500g biltong)

Great taste, but way too salty.
we brought this as we enjoy making Biltong and Jerky in our Ninja air fryer. The only problem is that the flour is soo salty. I ate it and give it a go again using less spice, but my wife threw hers away and couldn't eat it. Buy it, but we aware it's salty.

Lekker!
Since i bought a food dehyradtor for fruit i thought i would try this as good Biltong is quite expensive in the UK. Yes this stuff is a little salty, but hey its the proper flavour and its superb. If like me you miss your Lekker Biltong then this is the stuff you need. Lovely. Now to chew some with a beer while i wait for the Wors on the Braai.

Spot on original biltong taste.
Used this for my first ever batch of home-made biltong and have nothing but praise for it. The blend is perfect and just the right amount of everything in it. Have been complimented non-stop on how tasty the biltong I made is and have been told it tastes even better than most UK saffa shops!! Bought another 4.5kg of Topside today and tomorrow shall be making more using this great spice. A real winner.

Nearly all salt - don't buy
Absolutely vile no matter how we try to mix it. It's just too salty. Really pale mix. Smells mouldy. Would return for refund if I was able.

Far too salty
A bit disappointed, to be honest! It doesn't come with good instructions! I usually dry 1kg of meat! What I expected was something like this. Note: the following measurements are an example of what I expected to see, not what I used nor described by the vendor!!! For example; for 1kg, use the following: 50gr of FHOBS, 20ml water, 50ml malt vinegar, etc., Then if I make 500gr, I half the portions etc. Therefore I used measurements from another vendor, the end result was far too salty!! Not pleasant to the palate at all
