HW Alto Pad Saver

Brilliant piece of kit, worth paying the extra for quality and fits perfectly into my new Yamaha Alto and into the case....... well happy 😎🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷👍

It fits my alto sax perfectly. I have heard differing points of view about these and the conclusion I have come to is - clean your sax after every use, including the mouth piece. Tip out the excess moisture, use the Pull-Through then place the Pad Saver inside. It is not meant to clean the sax. That's my understanding after much research. I decided to buy this after a professional player, who also repairs saxophones, recommended them. You can leave it in after cleaning or not. As a beginner, I decided to develop the good habit of caring for my instrument after each use. I'll leave the debate to roll on as I'm sure it will. This method is the one I've decided to adopt. I'll clean and then leave this inside.

The purchase of this product on Amazon caused me to "accidently" sign up for Amazon Prime AGAIN and me to cancel it YET AGAIN. I deleted all the other products that I had in the basket that I could get elswhere but failed in the short term to find alternative supplier for the product so kept it (it was priced with postage included anyway). I have now resolved to look for all future requirements from other than Amazon until they stop the disgusting habit of duping people into signing up to Prime.

Works well it soaks up saliva from the body of the sax..Also should stop pads from sticking if inserted right after playing then pulled out.. and reinserted. Only took a couple of times to make the interior of my sax dry inside. I don't leave it inside my sax.

The speedy delivery from the company was brilliant, dont think it would have been quicker if they brought it to my door in person. The product fits my Alto sax perfectly and it still fits into the case if I want to leave the pad saver inside. I clean the sax with a pull through first and then will leave this in a while to give it the best chance of getting rid of any moisture I missed. Not having used one of these before, I have nothing to compare it to, but it appears it will do the job it is made for and I am very happy with it.

Item arrived on quick time. Well packed for the journey. The pad saver fits my alto sax perfectly. It does its job and is a very gentle fit. I can recommend this pad saver.

Very pleased with this. It fits into the sax neatly and securely and the cap on the end makes a nice snug fit onto the top of my saxophone. My only problem was the size of the box it came in. It was enormous! A guy delivered it in a van and the box took up loads of room in the boot - why they couldn't have put it in a padded envelope or even wrap parcel paper round it and put it through the letter box I don't know!!

I read about these pads and reckoned that it would be good to help keep the sax dry. It is perfect; I leave it in until I am ready to play. It simply does what it is meant to!

Avec ses poils très doux, il assure un nettoyage sans rayure de l'intérieur du saxophone. D'autre part, sa forme et sa taille sont parfaitement adaptées à l'instrument. Il absorbe parfaitement toute l'humidité dans le sax, dans les parties plus larges comme dans les parties plus étroites. En plus, il sèche très vite et trouve ensuite sa place dans la boite pas de l'instrument ; évitez cependant de le laisser à l'intérieur de celui-ci.
