Review for pre-assembled - very impressed
At first I was put off by the price, but after wiring and re-wiring this thing for the past few weeks I'm really glad I invested. The screw terminals do their job absolutely fine, and the labelling is all perfect unlike on the Arduino itself. The board feels very solid and the pins fit perfectly, I'm very glad I bought a full size board rather than the ones that come in two halves, the result is that this board is very robust.

Arrived soldered well but bent pins
Greta value compared to others. Mine arrived soldered and I was expecting to have to solder it myself. Soldering is good though some pins were bent on delivery. I managed to bend them back. Otherwise great for being to securely, temporarily add wires with the screw terminal and plenty of places to solder components as well. My Elegoo addition mega fitted just fine.

ESSENTIAL for any arduino project!
Got one for my flight sim home cockpit project. Makes life so much easier, and worth every penny.

Good idea, but presentation needs more thought
Eccellent concept. Good robust base board. Sadly sockets not well soldered, and not accurately seated. Also, terminals not clearly registered to device pins.

Useful but pins bent on arrival
Useful item but a number of pins were bent on arrival. It took about 40 mins to get them all straight and aligned correctly. Once sorted though it seated on the mega without problem. Handy for getting at all the pins when prototyping.

Data pins don't connect through to the Arduino correctly!
Data pins don't connect through to the Arduino correctly! Spent days connecting it up, and then another day troubleshooting to find that most of the inside data pins on the double header don't connect to the Mega 2560 R3!! correctly. It's a shame because the idea is good.

Much better than I expected. Fully assembled.
When I read the description of this terminal shield I got the impression that I would need to assemble it myself. However, it arrived fully assembled and ready to use. I have it fitted to an Arduino Mega and it works well. I have used other Arduino terminal shields and this one allows easier access to each terminal connection. Fitting to the Arduino took time and care to ensure all the pins lined up. The board is considerably larger than the Arduino board so it’s important to check you have space. POSITIVES - Price, easy to connect to I/O terminals, clearly numbered, fully assembled with space in the middle to solder other connections or components on. NEGATIVES - Bigger than other terminal shields, lining up the pins takes time and care.
