What a great kit, do eaxctly what you need them to do

I haven’t yet used the tie down kit however it looks to be well thought out and put together. Quite pricey but cheaper than repairing a damaged awning.

These genuine Thule straps are very well made and fit exactly. Big pegs and easy to set up and use. The fittings exactly lock in to the top of the Thule awning support legs, and the straps are substantial and easy to adjust. Much better than the generic tie-downs which can damage the awning, especially during high winds. The spring tensioners also help prevent damage during bad weather. The aluminium pegs supplied are large and strong and make great anchors. They might need replacing after continued use in hard ground as they deform slightly when hit hard with a hammer. It might be worth getting some large hard ground pegs to use as an alternative where appropriate.

Great item, easy to use and great value.

We've bought other tie down straps in the past which really haven't been "man enough". These were brilliant! The site we stayed at was on a headland in Devon which gets very, very windy. These held the blind in place perfectly. We were even able to go out for the day and not worry about whether they'd hold up. Absolutely brilliant.

Quality item.

Looks good, instructions vague, written on box but otherwise excellent. Not had chance to use it yet.
