Look for the one with widest strap and best cushioning so that it spreads the weight and doesn't cut into the neck. Also check the length of the strap to ensure that the instrument will hang down at the correct level to play. Mine is only just long enough for a tenor sax. An Alto may have a higher hook.

would this strap fit a soprano sax
