Brilliant cat toy! Keeping mine entertained for hours…

Although our cat plays with the toy from time to time, I have to initiate the play when I see her bored and wandering about for attention. When she gets into it, she loves it - but for about 3 mins - before looking for her catnip drugged toy squirrel to bunnykick. She's a stray cat though and has only just learned to play at 8 years old, so it's nice to see her have even a little interest in a toy as she has few she bothers about. She stares at it 'willing' the ball to move and doesn't realise that it's her that needs to move it, so I have to start the game for her, but when it's rolling, she's fully concentrated on it. I'd say it was a game best suited to kittens though, or cats used to keeping themselves occupied. Ours prefers humans to toys and we get jumped on instead. In fact, I'm sure it's a stray kangaroo we've taken in. Good quality, doesn't take up too much room, doesn't look too ugly and isn't too noisy. Might benefit from suckers or something that keeps it on the floor better, as the cat has it dragged round and flipped trying to get to the ball. Have a look on youtube for videos of the game - playful cats will love it. New edit Well, I've changed my mind. As Betty gets more used to playing, she is getting to like this toy very much. Now, when she gets up at the crack of dawn, she doesn't kangaroo over us in bed to wake us, she goes downstairs and batters about on her game. And now she knows she has to start the ball off, so she jumps on the thing almost every time she passes it. Hmmm, yeh, it was a good buy and it's quite a well thought out design.

Cats are known to be fussy about what they like and dislike so choosing a toy for a cat can be hit and miss. My 2 year old cat absolutely loves this interactive toy. She has had it since Christmas and I can honestly say she has played with it every day. Who needs a tv for entertainment?

Ordered this for 2 kittens, to help stimulate them during the day. Easy to set up and have in a variety of configurations, quality seems good (although will be tested as 1 kitten likes to try and chew/naw at the plastic). Lightweight too, so easy to move around, and as all is plastic, easy to clean. Once the kittens saw the toy they were curious and started playing with it. Entertained them for a while, but they kept coming back to it to play. Would definitely recommend this.

Arrived quickly. Would have given more stars as it's a nice, fun, engaging toy but the two ends were fixed together and I couldn't separate them. Took a while, but did it eventually so i could make a longer shape. Second problem was that my cat keeps getting the blue tubes off whilst trying to get the ball. Might have to glue them on. I might try making a circle to see if they stay on better. Other than that, he does enjoy playing with this toy. Hasn't left it alone since it arrived.

I bought this for my two kittens for Christmas. They absolutely love it and have played with it for ages! Easy to set up and good quality

My cats love it. My big ginger tom gives it a hard time, luckily it is cat proof. They both use it several times a day so it should be highly recommended.
