I've had two big pine branches hanging over my deck and inhibiting reception on my TV antenna for a year. I saw this saw and decided it was worth a shot--got it out this morning and had all the pieces assembled in 15 minutes. I had those two limbs (3-4 inch diameter) down in 20 minutes--honest! And I'm over 70 years old. The saw blade was really sharp and the pole came in pieces that screwed together to make a 17' pole that was quite sturdy--nothing flimsy about it, yet light enough for this old lady to wield it...I've already got a neighbor wanting to borrow it! If I'd know how easy this saw was to use, and how cheap it was, I'd have gotten it a lot sooner! Highly recommended for taking out branches that are out of reach--no ladder necessary! And it was easy to store because the pole can be taken apart until next time I need it. I took photos of the branches that were trimmed--one is magnified so you can see the cuts and the other shows how high they were. I really recommend this saw for ease of use, ease of assembly, and quality!

The saw works as described. It's very sturdy and nice that it's adjustable. It sawed through palm fonds fast and easy. I would recommend.

I gave this four stars cause it was advertised as aluminum. It would have been 5 star if the listing was nore simple to determine how it is built. It is aluminum and fiberglass with what seems to be steel screw together joints. I was looking for something more lightweight but I decided to use it and it works quite well. They blade is sharp and the pole extends quite a ways. It stays rigid when extended. It's not too heavy as to wear you out real quick. If your going to use the pruning tool your in for some work as it is only designed for branches of 1 inch or less. I'D STAY WITH THE SAW BLADE if ya get my drift. I am pleased and would buy another if I ever need to. It also comes with a bag for carrying abd packing it away. I would buy another saw blade at time of purchase if possible.

WOW works great. Reaches very high. Sturdy pole. Nice can alter the length. Cuts limbs well and live it for timing my giant agave. Slices like butter.

Yeah, a very nice saw for the money. Served my purpose really well. The pole sections are plenty sturdy and the saw has some flex to it but I wouldn't characterize it as flimsy as others have said. The triple edge teeth allow a smooth back and forth cut. No need for unnecessary brute force. As another reviewer stated, it's all about technique. Also, I found no problem attaching the blade to the bracket as others reported. Instead of the supplied tools, I used a #2 Phillips screwdriver and a combination wrench to fasten the bolts and lock nuts for a tight solid grab. I'm happy with the saw's performance, I might not need it again for a while, but it'll be there if I do. If you're in the wood cutting business, get something with a motor.

I wanted to try one with a different shaped blade. the hooks on each end are great. Saw stays on the limb while making full strokes. Best improvement on pole saw blades. The metal pole is definitely heavier than fiber glass. but it is stiffer and easier to keep on a limb with the hooks. Also like to use as a two handed handsaw. I want to buy extra blades or blade head. Thank you.

Great pole saw for the price! The sections of the pole screwed on nice and tight, and remained sturdy while I was sawing through 3 to 4 inch thick limbs that were 12 to 15 feet high above me. I also like the fact that I could just add or subtract the amount of pole sections to saw off limbs at different heights. Once the limbs were on the ground, I just used the hand saw portion of the pole saw to trim down the branches to be stacked neatly. The blade was very sharp, and as long as I was keeping the blade straight and letting the saw do it's thing, it cut through them like butter. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Je suis ravie de mon achat, j ai élagué un noyer, et j ai été agréablement surprise de sa maniabilité, même à 4 m de hauteur..je recommande ce produit.

Funktioniert bis jetzt sehr gut. Die scharfe Klinge schneidet selbst etwas dickere Äste problemlos, z.B. von unserem Ahornbaum. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall 4,3m Länge, weil man damit mühelos bis ca. 5,5m raufkommt. Die Sägenverlängerung ist angenehm leicht. Da ist mein ca. 2m langer Akku-Hochentaster mindestens so schwer. Die Säge ist auch sauber verarbeitet und lässt sich SEHR LEICHT zusammenbauen. Deshalb kann ich Kommentare von Leuten, die behaupten, sie wäre wackelig und die Verschraubung würde nicht passen, nicht nachvollziehen und vermute mal, dass diese Leute eher zwei linke Hände für technische Dinge haben. Außerdem sollte klar sein, dass die Säge nicht für 5-10mm dünne Ästchen geeignet ist, weil diese beim Sägen nachgeben. Für sowas nimmt man dann eine Teleskopschere mit Seilzug!

It's lightweight, easy to put together, well built, comfortable to use and the saw is very sharp meaning it doesn't bounce on the branches it cuts straight away. My dad who's 79 and I have used this to take down very thick (up to 20 inch) branches at around 4m high from a neighbours eucalyptus tree that blocks out light from his garden. After taking down 18 branches so far the saw is still very sharp. My dad wishes he'd bought this years ago as it's so easy and quick to use and it's not heavy so it's doesn't tire you out.
