Fitness Mad Yoga or Pilates Soft Exersoft Ball

I didn’t know these soft balls existed until a recent gym class and was so happy to find (I think) the exact ones the gym use! They hold a lot of weight, so are great for supporting hips/knees when lying down doing stretches in yoga, also the perfect size to hold between knees etc when doing other Pilate style workouts. Don’t inflate to full capacity if using for these exercises, they are surprisingly sturdy and won’t burst! The product is great and I’m very happy with it!

Bought to help with my physio exercises after rupturing my quadraceps tendons. Used daily behind the knees and put under plenty of pressure. It has shown lots of strength and durability. Easy to blow up and plug. Good value for money and recommended.

I needed a ball for some physio exercises for which this has proved absolutely ideal. It's nice and grippy and also squashy ( though presumably could be stiffened by blowing in more air ), plus was much easier to blow up and stopper than feared. Whilst I would hesitate to make it a minus point or actual criticism, I can't help but notice and hence point out that it does seem to have a funny smell ? Hardly unpleasant by any means ( although my cat is less than impressed as it does linger on my hand afterwards ), toxic marzipan comes to mind description-wise ! Otherwise an excellent bit of kit :-)

I bought this for use with an exercise program provided by my physiotherapist for a lower back injury. As there were many to choose from it was bewildering but I’ve purchased products from this company before (durable dense pads, stretch bands) and they are always excellent so that helped remove the wheat from the chaff! Blowing it up is definitely a mission and I feel sorry for anyone intending to blow this up then let it down regularly (considering how tiny it is I couldn’t really see why you would want to either)! However I’m unsure if people actually bother sticking the bung all the way in if they use it like that? If not, then it’s likely far easier! However I just wanted to blow it up and leave it rolling around my studio as it’s a very beautiful pretty Mediterranean Green (Aqua Marine) and although random, it smells utterly divine too! It’s difficult to fit the bung in place without squeezing all the air out as you have to wrestle with it. This is not the products fault but the nature of plugging a ball that you’re trying to hold! However, I established the best way to approach it was to not use anything to help insert it (like fairy liquid) as it would reduce friction and help air to escape. So instead you can stick the bung in place then roll your thumb around its base (not being afraid to squash it as it’s very tough and flexible) until its fully mated! I used this method, and fortunately after using it regularly, I haven’t had to blow it up again since. It’s really cute, and made of this really nice stretchy foam like material that is very grippy and just feels so nice and tactile in your hands (and I love the fragrance of it) …yummy!

Easy to inflate Ball has a good grip Just what I needed

I got this as I was looking for a 7"/18 cm ball for my Pilates class. It was easy to inflate and is just the right size. However on arrival it had a very strong smell (a bit like vanilla, so not necessarily unpleasant, unless like me you don't like vanilla). I found that the smell transferred onto my hands, and after leaving the ball in the room for a while the smell was also quite noticeable from some distance away. Even after a month in the conservatory the smell is still quite strong when you get up close. It also has a slightly 'sticky' feel, which I am not keen on. I have not actually used the ball as my class has been cancelled due to lockdown, so can't comment on its sturdiness or comfort, but it has remained well inflated. Update - after washing the ball and leaving it for a few months the smell is now almost undetectable. It is still well inflated after 6 months, I'm now using it in classes and am happy with it.

Watch out for express delivery

I use this ball for chi-ball exercises. It has a textured surface making it easy to hold on to in a range of movement. It holds its shape when it has less air for softer resistance. My husband also uses it for mobility exercises and we are both pleased with the texture and soft resistance of the ball.

This ball has a texture/feel that is amazing! It is very soft so won't leave you in pain! Perfect for what I needed it for!
