CND Shellac - Nordic Lights 7.3ml/0.25 fl oz

Love this colour, warm dark cherry colour, ideal for autumn and winter (I wear all year round). Great finish to the polish. Great shine and depth of colour, I will buy more colours as they look like they are professionally done.

Lovely colour. Only 2 coats needed... Update.. I went to repair a broken nail. Had nail all ready for the shellac polish,then the brush came away..not very happy. I am pleased to say that Amazon/ company sorted it out for me,no problem. The end of the brush on this bottle came off.

I’m not a nail technician... I’ve just taught myself how to do my own gel nails during the pandemic lockdown, I bought a starter kit that included a lamp but I didn’t like the colour. I did what loads of people do and bought some cheaper gels and surprise surprise they were not great, my nails didn’t set, the gels was thick and gloopy and after 24 hours they’d crack or bubble, I almost gave up. A friend suggested I try CND and I’m so glad I did. I can’t tell you how much better this product is compared to the ones I’ve tried before - I’m sure proper nail technicians can give you the technical/professional run down but as a complete novice who is pretty much making it up as she’s going along - DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON CHEAP GELS I love everything about this one, the consistency is perfect for someone like me who doesn’t really know what they’re doing, and the colour is perfect! I have to do three layers but that’s fine, they don’t look thick and bumpy afterwards, this gel is kind to my unqualified under skilled hands! I’ll only buy CND from now on.

It’s a creamy use pink - beautiful colour but requires 3 or 4 costs for full opacity. I find that because it requires more coats and is therefore thicker on your nail it doesn’t last as lon as the darker colours that only need two coats. After a week edges start to lift up with this colour but on the other darker colours I can go longer than 3 weeks with no chips or lifting. All round it is probably worth the lifting for the colour

I always find it disappointing when the colour doesn’t match. It’s a nice pink but I wanted the brighter one in the picture. I already have another CND colour called Ecstaccy and that is the same as this so no real benefit in buying this one. 😔

Purchased from Amazon Prime as arrives quicker than it does from the wholesaler! Very popular colour that last well and looks classy on any length nail.

Love using shellac on my nails and this color wasn't available at the salon. Have had many compliments about it and I do love the soft, neutral color. Goes with everything and shellac lasts so much longer than regular nail polish. This is a great color!
