I have to say that they themselves still wotrk prfectly, but because i have changed from Nvidea to AMD Sapphire for my GPU in my PC, they now easily go to swopping to another screen, but THEN they LOSE the main screen my previous PC was connected too. So I have to switch it of before changing the PC input. GOING BACK from the laptop to the PC does not seem to be a problem. I had something like this decades ago, and had exactly the same problem then wiith the same GPU card manufacturers. They still work the same. So much for progress. BUT THIS ITEM IS PERFECT. Problem is with AMD Gpu's, coz the nvidea PC I was using when I got this had no problems of any kind.

Great - very handy and does the job perfectly, its easy to use the push button to switch over between using our Playstation and the TV.

I combined this bi-directional switch with a pair of Securomax short 0.5m HDMI cables also purchased from Amazon to connect our Freeview box and computer to the same TV and very pleased with the overall quality and ease of use. A simple push button flips between the 2 sources with only a momentary delay before the new feed is displayed. This was a very cost effective solution to sharing the same TV to view 2 HDMI sources with no apparent degradation of picture quality and the sound actually seems slightly better. Highly recommended combination of this switch and the Securomax cables.

If you have PS4 and VR, then you wound have the same problem. HDR only supported when connecting your PS4 directly to the TV not via VR box. VR box connection is only required when playing vr games, but if you are constantly switching between vr games and normal games, you certainly don’t want to pull / plug all hdmi cables again and again and again. The switcher comes in rescue, works perfectly, single button push, saves all the hassle.

Does what I wanted and worked on my LG smart tv, which other switches haven’t. Bit temperamental when switching between my Xbox and RPi. Switching to Xbox worked every time, but switching back to RPi sometimes didn’t display a picture, which meant having to turn the tv on and off again to get a picture. More to do with the RPi though I think. Other downside is that as the RPi is hdmi cec enabled, everytime you turn the tv on, it then powers the switch which in turn seems to activate cec, which means that after about 10 seconds it switches across to the RPi from whatever it was on previously, which is annoying. But if you haven’t got an RPi, shouldn’t be a problem

I have a Dell monitor with a single HDMI socket. In 'normal' response mode there is no ghosting. When the HDMI lead is passed through this switch, there did appear to be ghosting. So, I used the ghosting test at testufo.com to confirm my suspicions. Sure enough. With HDMI switch = ghosting. Without HDMI switch = no ghosting. Consequently, I have decided to return it. I am always concerned about posting unfair reviews so I just power-recycled all my equipment before starting this paragraph in order to verify the issue again. Yep, I wasn't wrong, there is definitely a problem. This product seems to get a lot of good feedback so bear in mind that the one I received may be defective. I'm in such a hurry for a working HDMI switch that I'll be replacing it with something purchased locally.

This piece of kit is just what I wanted as part of my setup. Makes switching between two HDMI devices a breeze! I've connected 2 computers to 1 screen. The build quality of this little box is A1, it's made from sturdy metal - not cheap plastic! Has a 2 very clear LED lights to indicate which device (1 or 2) is connected at any given time. I would buy this again and recommend it to friends in a heartbeat. Well worth the money.

Unfortunately this did not work for me, firstly the connectors are ridiculously tight, I really feared the HDMI cables would be damaged if I forced them in. The problems did not end there though, the splitter only worked once, then no more, I used it to connect a Nintendo Switch and Xbox One to one HDMI socket on the TV, I was pleased initially that it swapped between the two, but a few seconds after swapping back, the Xbox One turned off, there was a burst of static noise, and the screen went blank, the only way the splitter works now is to unplug the connector not in use, which of course completely defeats the object of it, a waste of ten pounds.

Lo queria para el monitor de la recreativa y para la television del salon, usándolo solo uno a la vez. Sirve perfectamente, el armazón es de metal y el pulsador hasta la fecha funciona sin problemas, asi como las leds que indican el hdmi que estas usando.

Vorweg muß ich erwähnen das ich keine Fernbedienung nutzen wollte, sondern eine einfache und schnelle und unkomplizierte Möglichkeit wie ich zwischen meiner Sky TV-Box und der Amazon TV-Box umschalten kann welche an dem gleich Hdmi Kabel hängen. Dies funktioniert sehr gut und HD wird auch mit übertragen. Tolles Teil kann ich empfehlen! Update vom 12.09.2017: Es gibt zu diesem Gerät keine Fernbedienung! Ich stehe aber gerne auf und schalte direkt am Gerät um, bzw. ist mir schon vor dem einschalten des Fernsehers bewußt welches Gerät ich nutzen möchte und schalte dementsprechend um. Das Bild und der Ton werden sehr gut übertragen, ich merke keine Verschlechterung. Ja ich würde es wieder kaufen!

Purchased this to have both my PS4 and XBOX One hooked up to a single port on my PC. I have an all-in-one PC that has an HDMI input. Works great, now I have all 3 devices hooked up through my PC monitor. I had purchased 2 other switches before this one and neither worked well. They either switched automatically when they shouldn't, or would only work with 1 device powered on. Since this one is a mechanical switch, there's no automation, but the connection is much simpler, and therefore more compatible. For my purpose, it's a perfect fit.

Switch bidirezionale che fa quello che promette. Funziona in ambo le direzioni quindi è possibile usarlo per: 1. 2 input 1 output per collegare alternativamente due fonti allo stesso dispositivo (2 console collegate ad un TV) 2. 1 ingresso 2 uscite per collegarae alternativamente un dispositivo a due destinatari differenti (2 TV, 1 tv ed un proiettore, etc...) NB non è uno splitter, ma rimane uno switch collegato all'inverso, quindi il collegamento funzionerà SOLO su un dispositivo di uscita alla volta (quello selezionato dall'interruttore) Consigliato se vi serve uno switch che mantenga anche i segnali di ritorno (io lo uso regolarmente con fonti che sfruttano HDMI CEC per usare il segnale del telecomando della TV, direttamente sul dispositivo) Ed anche se vi serve uno splitter che funzioni su 1 solo delle due destinazioni alla volta... dato che non è alimentato e compatto.

Made my life much easier. Would not have been able to use Firestick and set top box together in my not so smart TV had this product not been there.
