A cheap, easy and fast option for hair removal! Thumbs up!
I really like this product. I have PCOS and have problematic hairs on my chin, cheeks and top lip at 31 years old!! I have tried a few electric hair removal options that cause nasty break outs. After first use of this device, I had to remove quite a lot of hair and it caused a few spots but nothing like from the electrical tools. Its a bit painful, especially on the cheeks, but not too bad on the top lip and chin! I use it regularly now and it makes it less painful. I think its a great, cheap, speedy option for hair removal and is oddly satisfying! Didnt give 5 stars as doesnt remove absolutely all hairs but i dont mind tweezing a few.

Best product EVER!
I cannot sing the praises of this product enough! For the last 10 years I have struggled with excess and course facial hair due to having polycystic ovaries and have been mainly waxing which never removes all of the hairs and leaves my skin either spotty or sore and broken, and then I came across this product and thought id give it a go, and for only £10 I had nothing to lose. WOW! Not only did it remove the longer hairs, but the short fine ones too, and for the first time in 10 years I actually have smooth hair free skin! Its so easy to use and you wont need to stand infront of a mirror for ages trying to find the hairs, you just roll it over your skin and it does the rest, I used it while watching the tv. It covers quite a wide area so is also quick. I had a little bit of redness but it soon went, and no soreness. I really can't recommend this product enough for people who suffer from excess facial hair like myself, my only regret is that I didn't find it 10 years ago!

Overpriced
Ok, look it does 'something' and removes light lip hair fairly well ...but it is so hard to use and not at all accurate....using on eyebrow gets all sorts stuck in and pulled out. Your hands are across your face so you can't see what you are doing and the spring does move in directions you may not have planned for. I've got a few eyebrow chunks missing now. Can't get it to work on some areas as I can't make it taught, as am using both hands for the wand. For some specific areas it can work, but personally I find it a pain in the backside to use and VASTLY overpriced for a metal spring.

Quality none existent anymore
I have bought numerous epiwands over the years and gradually seen the quality dwindle sadly. It is now flimsy, less weighty, and the metal doesn’t grab the hairs like the epiwands did from years ago. An epiwand I bought less than a year ago has had its handle snapped off. Not built to last. The price point has remained at £10 for years. I can only imagine the quality has reduced to keep it at this price point. I would rather pay extra for a premium quality/durability for a product that actually works how it should. . I am returning mine and will continue to use my old one.

Quick, effective & easy to use
Brilliant. I usually tweeze the little hairs on my upper lip, but it can be time consuming if I can't get good lighting etc. I really wanted a quick and efficient alternative that didn't involve booking into a salon. I had tried wax strips in the past and, twice, ended up with impetigo! I'm a clean freak and I'm extremely particular about cleaning the area well, before and after etc. which leads me to believe that the problem was with the product... but anyway, I'm all for the Epiwand. It's so quick, effective and easy to use. Yes, it hurts because it's pulling hairs out! But I believe over time we get used to that kind of thing. Definitely recommend these!

Quality over quantity
I didn't think it was really possible to get different kinds of these things. I assumed that the wire etc would be standard. I was wrong. I used to have one of the cheaper ones and it was really quite painful for me to use so I gave up. Bought this one as I couldn't find the one I had and it is so much better. The wire is just more flexible so it really grabs the hairs properly so much less pain, grabs more at a time and is easier to bend. Don't try the cheaper ones.

Converted!!
I am a tiny bit in love with this product... It's already saved me so much money that I would have paying out for threading and I have only had it a week or so!! Not that I'm a furry yeti or anything but I go to have some facial threading twice a month. Lip .. Bit of chin etc and there is nothing worse than resorting to hair removal cream or a huge scarf wrapped around your face to hide a newly sprouted hair when you haven't got time to go to a salon. I have heard the stories about threading is better and makes your hair softer and less noticeable and so on.. So I do feel like a traitor when I have to pluck a couple to avoid my chin looking like the top of Homer Simpson's head. This does the job perfectly. I haven't had any adverse reactions and usually if I use wax or cream I have by now. (No ingrown hairs either!) It's a tiny little bit daunting at first but actually it didn't take long to get my own technique and it's great. (Also it's a massive bonus not having to cry in a public place or walk around with a fat red lip,) let's face it.. What we are spending all this money for is to try to convince the rest of society that we have baby smooth hair free faces and yet it is basically written all over our faces after ten minutes, spent helpless with a sadistic beautician pulling, what actually feels like my soul from my body when she catches a hair too close to my nasal cavities) This is truly a life saver, I have used it on short/ course/ soft and longer hairs with no trouble. I tend to wet wipe the area and allow to dry first to get rid of any grease or makeup and put a soothing cream on after. Down side is I wishhhhh they could be safely used on eyebrows ( please find a way) without the possibility of removing them completely. I am now totally resenting having to pay for threading at all!!! And the other negative is would be nice to have a little pouch and cleaning brush in (and replacements for life because I suspect with prolonged use the wands Spring won't be so tight) but at this price I am more than happy it's already paid for itself several times over. I'm Really glad I tried the Epi Wand and can continue to convince the world I have never and, will never have a beard to rival Gandalfs.

I have bad facial hair, it comes back every few day... I've done laser, I've naired, I've waxed, and I've plucked...nothing compares to the epiwand! I was concerned that it would hurt or it would be ineffective. However, it does not hurt on the chin, jawline, or neck. It does hut on the upper lip. I am getting some numbing cream to help. But holy smokes, this thing is AMAZING. I was able to remove all my facial hair (chip, jawline, neck and checks) in a matter of minutes and it didn't hurt. Yes, it is uncomfortable, you are pulling hair out, but it grabs many pieces at once and you just roll it out. It is the most expensive one on amazon, but based on how effective it is,...I would have paid more. Life changer.

Inoltre zero irritazioni!

When I first tried the Epiwand, it just did not seem to work. I read reviews here on Amazon from some people who loved it, and some people who didn't. I ordered it anyway, hoping against hope that it would be useful. Once I received it, I bent it into the U-shape as instructed, and rolled it on my face. Nothing happened. I reread the directions that came with it in the box, applied it again to my face, and still nothing happened. Later that day I received an email from the company who manufactures this instrument. Hannah offered her assistance, and wanted to have my feedback about the Epiwand. I told her I didn't have any success with it, and she sent me a link to a video so that I could see how to correctly use the tool. Finally I watched the video, and I could see what I had been doing wrong. I believe that many of the people who did not give this item good reviews here, may have been missing a very important aspect of using this tool, which I picked up on when watching the video. I've taken some photos to illustrate the missing link. What I had been doing wrong, was that I had maintained the tool in a U-shaped position as I applied it to my face. I turned the handles of the wand, but nothing happened. When I watched the video that was sent to me, I could see that the girl in the video flattened the spring part of the wand (which is the part that removes the hair) against her face, and she maintained pressure so that the coiled spring formed a straight line on her face, rather than a U-shape. This is what makes the tool work! This is what I had NOT been doing! I've attached some photos showing both the incorrect way of using the tool, as well as the correct way. The INCORRECT way of using this item, is keeping it in the U-shape. You do NOT want to do this. I've also attached photos showing the correct way to use the Epiwand, which is to push it firmly against the face AS you also rotate the handles, causing the coiled spring to form a straight line across the face. Another important tip: Faces may be different, and hair growth may be different. I found that if the tool did not pick up the hair with me moving the FLATTENED spring against my face in one direction, it would remove the hair if I moved it in another direction. I not only go up and down on the facial surface, but also side to side. I move the wand at several different angles, to pick up hairs that may be growing differently, or just don't get caught by the tool when moving it in one particular direction. My experience with this company, and with their product has been excellent. Hannah stayed with me, emailing regularly to check on my progress, and was consistently in good communication. This company has superior customer service. I truthfully was very disappointed with the product initially. I just thought to myself... Well... more good money down the drain.... However in this case my conclusion turned out to be wrong. I can truthfully now say that I am thrilled with this product. Before using this wand, it was a tedious job of using tweezers and a magnifying mirror, and even holding a flashlight sometimes! to see and get all the hairs. Plus I couldn't watch TV as I was doing it. I had to be looking into the mirror to figure out where to put the tweezers, or where to shine the flashlight. Bummer. Now I just sit in the recliner, pick up the wand, and move it gently all around my face as I watch a movie or a show. With tweezers, I never got as many facial hairs as I do now with this Epiwand, and never was it so easily done. You can see from the pictures that I'm older, but I know many older ladies who would love this for Christmas. Women of all ages could benefit from the correct use of this ingenious device. I'm a fan! I'll be using only this from now on.
