Workout routine presented by fitness and body coach Joe Wicks. The collection includes warm-up and cool-down routines as well as seven HIIT workouts and some nutritional advice. Packed full with fat burning content for exercise that will help with weight loss and general health. Review: Great for motivation - I'll start with being honest, I'm not fit. Last time I exercised it was march last year (14 months ago). But that's because I was pregnant and having a physical job did not have the energy for exercise as well. Post baby I put exercise off again and again. It's may and I bought the DVD on presale! Naughty me! Anyway I picked my wedding dress up this week and realised it fits... woohoohoo you might say but no the dress is plus sized and I do not want to be plus sized on my wedding day, in fact I intend on that dress being altered considerable in size! So my point is... I am lazy, I've been eating poorly most of my life, I mean most of my meals are healthy but I eat takeaways a lot! Plus I have a mummy tummy. I'm telling you all this because I need to get across how unfit I am so I can honestly say that you do not need any level of fitness to start this work out. Some people have claimed you need to be reasonably fit for even level 1. I say NO! This simply is not true! Sure it's hard, it's HIIT training, it's supposed to push you to your limit, that's the point of it! But it's only short bursts of exercise and sure Day one was tough, my coordination or lack of it let me down and I struggled to get through it... but i did get through it! I'm on day 2 now and I smashed it even though I did Pilates in the morning and this DVD in the evening! The good points: • it's hard but not too hard. • Joe is very motivational. • exercises are explained and demonstrated well. • no stupid music • it's quick The bad points: • Joe is a lot more serious in this than you expect him to be. Not really a bad point but I'm struggling to find a real one. Overall after 2 sessions I think it's great! Review: The 1st Fitness DVD I have stuck to. It’s brill! - I know I have probably been living under a rock but this is the first time I have come across Joe Wicks. I actually bought the DVD because it was cheap and I wanted to dip my toe into the World of fitness without spending too much money. I was a bit apprehensive at first as I have tried out a few fitness DVDs in the past and I generally find them hard to stick to, difficult to keep up with and generally can be a bit annoying. I have been very pleasantly surprised with this DVD. It’s brilliant. Although I run around after the family and do quite a bit of walking, my fitness isn’t brilliant, so I started on the easiest work out, which I managed and felt motivated about doing again because I could actually complete the 15 minute set. The DVD consists of a number of different 15 minute workouts from beginner upwards, a warm up, and a cool down. So the whole exercise session probably takes about 25 minutes in total, but you can choose which level of exercise you wish to do. It’s high impact fitness, where Joe explains how to do a number of 30 second bursts of exercise with short rests in between to catch your breath. As I have mentioned I am sticking to the beginner workout for now until my fitness improves but I can really feel it begin to work. Even with the beginners workout, my heart rate increases, I’m sweaty at the end of it and my achey muscles are telling me they are having to do some work. Joe is really motivational and explains how to do the exercises well. This is the first fitness DVD that I have actually enjoyed doing, and will go back for more as I can feel results from it. Go on, it’s only a fiver and it’s worth it.

The 1st Fitness DVD I have stuck to. It’s brill!

Fat, mid forties, male, seeks sympathetic workout coach for fun and fitness.
I think Joe Wicks is trying to kill me. I am not a fit man. I'm an out of shape ex-smoker, two stones over where I'd like to be, and I need to get into last years holiday clothes in three months. Joe is pushing me, though. I mean - winding me up. It's a hard enough workout from the perspective of someone without current fitness experience, and Joe is so bloody positive. All the cliches are in there to keep me going. I believe that Joe wants me to do well, to keep going, last thirty seconds now, almost there, and rest. The first week saw me tackle the warm up, with bouts of dizziness and shaky legs. Second week I warmed up and tickled the first 15 minute plan. Same third week, but it felt...easier. By the end of the first month, I'm standing taller and I don't ache as much the next morning. It seems to be working for me...but there's some way to go. I'll check back in with this review in two months time. Cheers Joe.

Realistic Training
Having tried other workout dvds such as Insanity and P90X where everyone on screen are happy and smiling even though they are busting a gut and dont acknowledge the difficulty involved in highly intense training for 45 minutes to an hour, it is very refreshing to see someone suffering and telling you that they are. It movitated me to keep going when he was doing the same thing. In regards to the actual routines I have tried 1,2,3 and 4 as i wanted to experience the differences in difficulty between levels before reviewing. I believe levels 1 and 2 would be classed as beginners, you will still work up a sweat but the technicality of each exercise is quite low and also has easier alternatives. Levels 3 and 4 assumes that you know what you are doing. Some of the exercises will require a bit of time to get the technique right and on my first run through I struggled with form but by the later rounds I felt like I had gotten to grips with them. I plan on working my way up to the winners workout over the next 1-2 weeks as I feel comfortable in my fitness to do so. In terms of longevity I believe I will aim to complete this 4 times a week and alternate the difficulty i.e level 4 on day one, level 2 on day two etc. So there is the potential to work through these routines on a long term basis. Overall I believe this to be a very solid product. The only thing I would consider more benefical would be the options to have users forums, therefore us users could share our experiences and learnings.

a good fitness course 👌

This order took months to arrive and when we finally went to play it there was nothing on the disk. Do not order from this person!

I just got the DVD and tried to play it. It says "disc error". Very dissatisfied and disappointed . I wish I had read previous reviews complaining about the same problem.
