Product Description From the age of 4 months the kitten's growth rate slows down: The digestive system and natural defences develop but remain fragile. The bone structure strengthens gradually. Energy needs remain high, even though they decrease little by little. The kitten's final set of teeth appear. Royal Canin Kitten has ultra-strengthened digestive safety thanks to highly digestible proteins that limit the content of fermentable residues in the intestine, fructo-oligo-saccharides and beet pulp to balance the intestinal flora, and EPA/DHA to protect the intestinal mucous membrane. Helps the kitten develop natural defences with a patented antioxidant complex (Vitamins C & E, taurine & lutein) and mannan-loigo-saccharides. Reduces faecal smell gthanks to a high content of L.I.P. proteins selected for theigh high level ods assimilation, which reduces the amount of fermentable residues in the intestine. I have 3 rescue kittens (ages 18, 17 and 8 weeks old) who have been eating these kibbles along with Felix Kitten As Good As It Gets wet food and Whiskas Cat Milk (once weened from specialist milk provided by my vet) since they came into my care. Within a week of eating these I noticed a shine to their coats, their health improve, good weight gain and fantastic growth, especially considering how young these little ones were when they came to me as they should not have been away from their mothers at such young ages. Veterinary checks have also shown they have been putting weight on correctly and at good speed on this diet with their teeth being very clean. A little personal, but I have also noticed a greater consistency and less smell in their poop since they have began this kibble in comparison to the very cheap biscuits they were fed beforehand at a rescue centre. A 2kg would last roughly 3 weeks at present with my 3 kittens which includes mixing this into their wet food and keeping 2 bowls out throughout the day for them to nibble on. Wouldn't dream of moving my kittens over to any other brand of dry food and they will be moved to the Royal Canin sterilized kitten kibble once they are spayed to ensure their weight remains consistent, especially so as they are all indoor cats. It may seem more expensive than supermarket available dry food brands but it is definitely worth every penny for your cats physical health and growth when the ingredients for this are compared to other brands (high real meat/protein content, little "filler" carbohydrate ingredients).

**Q: How much do I feed a 11 weeks old kitten? Thanks**
A: I have 2 siamese who are now 2 & 3yrs old . Both of them will not touch any other dried cat food other than royal  canine kitten 36 , this has had no adverse effect on them . I tend to feed them twice a bowl in the morning and a bowl at night , my cats tend to eat more at night , what I have found is they tend to only eat what they need to eat so if I put too much in I can 're use it the next morning

**Q: Can I give this along side raw food?**
A: Yes you can.I always use wet food and dry food and a dish of water.Incase they get hungry in the night.Which they do as kittens eat a lot ❤️

**Q: how much grams does it weigh in 1 cup?**
A: I don't use this any more but I never measure by cup I just put a handful in her dish. I hope this helps.

**Q: How long will the 2kg last if im feeding one kitten**
A: We too have small cats who are fed morning and night, and also at some stsge once during the day.. When they were little they had food out all day, but as we have older cats and a dog, it wasn't viable long term. Work on a month for a bag, and see how it goes for one xat. It's good value, and we are really pleased with it.

Very good value price for such a high quality feed. My little ragdoll enjoys these, he was on another popular brand before (iams) and they were good, but stunk. These have minimal smell, and the zip lock storage on the package actually seals very well.
