Bought a second one just because the first one got lost somewhere! Before it did - it successfully guarded the whole family temperature tracking since 2020. Mostly used for kids of course and this is where it excels. It is simple, not expensive and yet very good. Here is why: 1. Accurate. Great and consistent accuracy if you use it correctly, especially underarm. With mouth or rectal measurements it's harder to make it wrong, but with underarm you need to ensure a good contact with the skin. 2. Fast. Speed is super important when you're trying to measure the temperature of a crying baby at 3 AM. Braun claims 8-14 seconds but I have to say it's often much faster than that. I think it's related again to how good the contact is especially underarm. If contact is good - the temp climbs and correspondingly gets read faster. 3. Great display. It's big enough, with clear big numbers and very helpfully colour coded between green, yellow and red - corresponding to temperatures per age. 4. Other features - it's light, has a handy cover for the tip, and the tip itself is nice and flexible which definitely helps to make it more comfortable especially for smaller babies. 5. Battery - for the first thermometer which we used almost 6 years - I did change the battery maximum once if at all. This is what you need when you take it out and need to measure temperature quickly and not look around for batteries. TO NOTE / suggested improvement: You have the option to select the age 0-3, 3-36 or 36+ months. This won't change the measurement but will impact how it is colour coded as for small babies lower temperature, like 38 is already considered high. The only thing I wish was improved is that at the stage of age selection - for the screen to be even lightly lighted up so that you can see it in the dark. As again, if you're measuring your child's temperature in the middle of the night - you need some source of light to be able to see this, which is not always convenient. Otherwise it's simply a great little device, absolutely worth it's money and something I can responsibly recommend! Hope you don't need it often, stay well and healthy! Cheers!

Life saver for sick days – finally a thermometer that actually works! I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share how much this Braun thermometer has made life easier for us. I bought this Braun Age Precision thermometer on 14 October 2025 especially for my kids. I’ve already used it a few times and I’ve been genuinely happy with it as compared to the previous thermometers I had. From the first time I used it, it felt thoughtfully designed as the flexible tip makes it comfortable and safe whether I use it under the arm for the kids. The temperature reading comes back fast usually within 8 seconds and seems accurate and consistent, which makes knowing whether kids are running a fever much easier. When you power it up it asks you about the age group first. The age‑adjusted colour‑coded display is a small touch but really helpful and it takes the guesswork out of “normal vs alarm” depending on whether it’s for a baby or an adult. In short, its a simple but very dependable thermometer that makes taking temperatures quick, easy and stress‑free. I am happy with this little device so far and I highly recommend it.

We've been using this thermometer for our baby as a bit of reassurance. It seems accurate and reliable and is fairly easy to use. It is slim and easy to store without using too much space. The battery still seems to be going strong and we've had it for several months now. You need reasonable lighting to be able to see the result on the screen as it is not lit, which isn't ideal when trying to check your baby's temperature at night without disturbing them. It has been good for us and done its job well. If the screen lit up it would be perfect!

I got this from my baby registry and haven’t used it for 7m,l because i haven’t had the need to. Recently my baby had flu and I had to bring this out to use, it is very easy to use and it takes accurate temperature reading. You also get to choose baby’s age range easily on the thermometer. It’s cute and very light, and baby didn’t even make a fuss when I used it on her. It’s got a nice little lid to store it properly so yeah, i highly recommend

Por fin después de mucho buscar y comprar el primer termómetro fiable rápido de axila con un sonido claro. No ha sido nada fácil Solo uno de frente y oreja está a su altura Muy recomendable y excelente la opción de escoger medícion por rango de edad tanto para niños como adultos Totalmente de acuerdo con el cliente que se queja de falta de retroiluminacion al seleccionar rango de edad No está a la altura de la calidad de todo el conjunto Muy recomendable. EDITO : totalmente de acuerdo con el cliente que dice que falta luz para seleccionar edad No se ve nada a no ser que se ponga delante una luz Podrían haber mantenido la luz para este fin Por otro lado el sonido alarma a veces es fuerte y otras apenas se oye. Quito una estrella La medición es rápida eso sí.EDITO: Acabo de comprar la segunda unidad por el buen resultado y prefiero tener dos. El pitido por debajo de 36* suele oirse bajito o no oirse por encima de 36* ningún problema a veces Rápido fiable y seguro Añado una estrella mas se lo merece. EDITO me Ratifico en mi opinion positiva pero reitero que Braun deberia solucionar tema pitido y como dijo otro cliente es un pena que no se ilumine al cambiar edad en display EDITO: en cuanto a lo que dice algún cliente que el termómetro sigue subiendo después del pitido que además a veces es inaudible en mi caso como una vez llegado a la temperatura corporal puede tronar relampaguear o sonar sirenas que no sube más Eso lo saben muy bien es hospitales y centros de atención primaria Por otro lado si la temperatura corporal puede no alcanza un mínimo el sonido apenas es audible En mi caso tengo TRES de esos termómetros ya que mi casa no es un piso y hay distancias grandes entre habitaciones Fue recomendado ese termómetro por un centro sanitario y nada que ver con otros que miden otras partes del cuerpo que ahí si entra la pericia de quien lo usa Reitero: posiblemente el mejor termómetro digital y fiable del momento al menos en mis tres unidades

Dla mnie - bez wad. Trzeba pamiętać, że po uruchomieniu należy wybrać kategorię wiekową - i tu dla osób słabo widzących może być pewien problem, bo ikonki są słabo widoczne. Mierzy temperaturę błyskawicznie - faktycznie trwa to ok. 8 sekund.
