Phonics Flashcards (Read Write Inc. Home)

My daughter loves these flashcards! They do Read Write Inc at school, so we got her this set to help at home. She was so excited to see the same cards she uses in class, and she loves playing with them. The cards are clear, sturdy, and really well designed. The illustrations are lovely and will eventually help with handwriting too, making them a great long-term resource. Overall, brilliant cards — engaging, educational, and perfect for supporting phonics learning at home.

Child started reception and these cards have definitely been an investment in their learning. Easy to use and support learning, plus child likes to practice with them on their own. Must need for all parents.

Great cards to practice phonics with ideas of activities to do with your child.

My daughter liked colouring it - only get it if you are willing to sit down and practice with your child.

Very simple to use and my 3 year old picked it up pretty quickly.

These are perfect. I've searched around a lot to find the same phonics cards that are used in my kids school and I finally found them. My daughter will be starting nursery in September and wanted to give her the headstart I didn't know to give my son. They also come with instructions of which letters to teach first and how to teach them how to blend etc which really helps. I also know it'll be the same order they learn in school so will benefit her a lot. They're also colour coordinated which is great for when the kids tip them all out and mess up the order. It also gave me some an opportunity to sit down and teach some of the first sounds to his little sister which was so sweet! I previously was using different cards but the pictures were different for instance, astronaut instead of apple and rainbow instead of robot. Which is fine, but then confuses them when they're learning it at school with different pictures and rhymes, so really happy that these will be the same! Highly recommend, and also great for the price!

The letter cards are two sided, one side obviously has the letter, but the other side has the letter with a little picture to help remember the sound. W has a worm shaped like a W. great for kids who are helped with a little reminder that you don’t have to say, the card shows.
