I didn't have a disk either. However I checked Tecknet's website and you can download the software and manual from there. I've just installed it now. It appears to be software used to load and save settings and profiles. Here's the link to the page with the download which I presume they're talking about in the instructions which came in the packaging ... http://www.tecknet.co.uk/support/wm389-new.html **Q: How do i switch the lights on and off?** A: There is a switch on the bottom with three settings, off, on and on with LEDs. **Q: Do you know what warranty is given on this mouse? Mine has stopped working** A: Chances are there will be the standard 1 year warranty on it **Q: Can you change the accuracy? I haven't seen people complaining about this but my mouse seems off, like where I'm pointing it is not where it goes** A: It took me a bit of playing about to get it to move comfortably. One of the top buttons switches the DPI which gets it close, then adjusted in windows for the finer adjustment. (not sure on other OS) I still use the DPI button for switching move speed for some games but takes practice to switch back smoothly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Wireless Mouse for all uses *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 December 2018* I was after a replacement mouse for my gaming laptop. Most Wireless mice are on the small side, so I was very happy when this arrived, as it a full size mouse. It arrived in TeckNet's frustration free packaging. (plain printed cardboard, ideal for recycling)Set up is plug and play, and works immediately on Windows and Linux. Its a good size and fits my hand perfectly, The left/right buttons have slight curve to them, which makes them very comfortable. The left thumb buttons are in the perfect position for my grip and the texturing around the thumb area, helps with the grip when your engaged in frantic FPS games. The Mouse feels very sturdy and after a full weeks of using it with games such as Battlefield V, Lord of the Rings Online and Dreadnought, I can say its performed very well. Even surviving being knocked of the desk. All the buttons are responsive and easy to use, The wheel is smooth to turn with a nice texture on it.Over all this is an excellent mouse, and very well priced.. I have paid more in the past for a wireless mouse, only to be disappointed. TechNet have come up with a winner. Get this mouse even if your not a gamer, its great for use as a normal mouse.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great all-rounder mouse *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 March 2024* I've been using the mouse for almost a year now, and I am extremely happy with it. I'll start with my personal favorite thing about it, which is it's size.In an age when everything tends to get smaller, most mice out there are cute, petite, and in many occasions almost flat. Not a bad thing on its own, unless your hands are bigger than average. After a long and frustrating search, I ended up buying this one from Tecknet, and I have zero regrets. Here I'd like to point something out:Dear Amazon sellers,Product dimensions, size, whatever you want to call it, is a thing. As much as I appreciate all the information you provide, I would also like to know how big is it. I don't care if you use the metric, imperial, or an ancient Mesopotamian system of measurement, just tell me how big is it.Having said that, the mouse works straight out of the box, instantly recognized by Windows (Win 10 in my case), and the dongle has a great range. My PC is connected to the TV in the living room, and I'm sitting roughly 2 meters (~5ft) away. The mouse is very responsive, with no problems, even when tested from 4-5 meters away. The mouse has a very good accuracy, I usually go for 800, or 1200 DPI which is more than enough for my needs. For video games I mostly use a controller, but for games that require m/k, everything work flawlessly with good movement and pinpoint accuracy.I tested the mouse on a wooden surface, leather and fabric with no problem whatsoever. With those features and price, you honestly can't go wrong. If you're a professional competitive gamer, feel free to buy a $200 mouse, for everyone else, a TECKNET mouse is one of the best purchases you'll ever make. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9yo-minecraft-addict friendly! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 December 2018* i got this mouse for my 9yo for playing minecraft on our pc. he broke the previous tecknet mouse in some rage quitting incident. our last mouse had a good few buttons, but this new one is a step up for gaming.ok, so first my problems with it! bearing in mind i'm a 40-something mum of 4 who doesn't game, so i'm just using it as a standard mouse whenever i get near the pc. it's larger than i'm used to and i find it unwieldy, but i do have small hands. there are far too many buttons and i click many of them accidentally and randomly causing frustration (but no rage quitting or mouse breaking!) when the computer then carries out whatever it is my accidental clicks have asked it to do. my children's advice here is just not to click the buttons randomly... i also find that i need to move the mouse across a lot of the desk to move around the screen, but i imagine that's something to do with settings that i could fix. i think it would benefit from a mouse mat rather than being used directly on the desk. we've lived without a mouse mat for so long that i'm not keen, but i think it would improve the accuracy.as for my son, he's delighted with it. it does everything he wants it to and then some. he, being 9, also has small hands and has no issue with the size. so that'll just be me, then! it set up very easily as soon as i plugged the receiver in. from previous tecknet experience, i'm hopeful the batteries will last a long time. we use rechargeables, but my 9yo's patience doesn't always extend to waiting for batteries to charge. (he's not actually a monster, he's really sweet, honest! but he is of the tech generation who are used to everything happening instantly!)seeing as this is a gaming mouse bought specifically for that purpose, i'm going to weight this review accordingly; but it's worth being aware that if you also use your computer for non-gaming activities that require, say, just 2 buttons, you might find it a bit frustrating to use at that point, especially if your muscle memory hasn't got used to the array of buttons by gaming continuously! i only use our pc occasionally, so i'll put up with it - if you share your pc more equitably, you might consider investing in a separate basic mouse for any non-gamers!in the interests of transparency, you should probably know that i got this mouse for free in return for an honest review of them. i've got oodles of integrity (which i know, but i guess you'll just have to take my word for) and i wouldn't order a product i didn't have a genuine use for, never mind leave a positive review. ## Frequently Bought Together - TECKNET Wireless Gaming Mouse 2.4G Optical USB Computer Mice, 8 Buttons, 4800DPI Nano Receiver for Win11, Win10, Win8, Win7, Windows XP, Vista, MAC - cimetech Mouse Mat Office Mouse Pad Mousepad 23 x 18 cm Ultra Thin Improves Speed and Accuracy, Non-Slip Rubber Base, Textured, Wear-Resistant, Washable, Black - New Horrizon - Mouse Mat BLACK ANTI-SLIP COMFORT MOUSE PAD MAT WITH GEL FOAM REST WRIST SUPPORT FOR PC LAPTOP - Compatible with Laser and Optical Mice --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.id/products/47989391-tecknet-wireless-gaming-mouse-2-4g-and-usb-c-dual](https://www.desertcart.id/products/47989391-tecknet-wireless-gaming-mouse-2-4g-and-usb-c-dual) --- *Product available on Desertcart Indonesia* *Store origin: ID* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
