Best picks out there when played with the rubber side
Best picks I have ever used, and I've used lots. So good that they are the only picks I use these days. The end is sharp and quite bright, overall pleasant to use, similar to a Jazz III but doesn't 'stick' to the strings in the same way I find those picks do and also not as brittle sounding. The variable flexibility is absolutely genius too but the real reason I keep but these picks is because, if you turn the pick on it's side and play with the rubber end it creates a beautiful warm sound that is perfect for playing jazz. It also slides across the strings with no pick feedback/drag at all when played this way, making complex funk strumming patterns or fast lead lines totally effortless to play. Dava, if you listening out there, please make a pick that is made entirely out of rubber. It would be the perfect pick.

Love these picks! Delivered in what felt like an hour
Just a fantastic product, picking is so much more relaxed as the pick stays stuck in the right spot with no effort even with slightly damp hands. Really brightens up the tone compared to all vinyl picks too and spun on its side to play rubber on string gives a really warm, varied tone. Pal gave me one of these years ago and I wore it out as it was the only one I ever wanted to use! Great to know where to come in future. Many thanks

Excellent picks
I bought these after reading an interview with Josh Elmore, who has used this brand for years. I've always been a Jazz iii user (mainly playing heavy metal), but these picks are now my go to. Excellent grip and quality. Not sure I'll ever buy any other brand now..!

nice picks
I'm still trying to find the right picks for my mandolin playing. I like the grips very much. I would prefer the picks themselves to be firmer. I could swear that the blue and yellow picks are a little firmer than the white one, but that is probably me. The jazz pick pointed shape helps make a nice crisp sound. EDIT May 2020 - I now use these picks all the time. My playing has developed, and these work well. The biggest accolade is that my teacher now uses them!

The best picks I've ever used!
I've been playing guitar for 18 years and I've tried almost every mass-market brand of pick around. I went through a long phase of using the Dunlop Big Stubby picks, before going off them for some reason I can't put my finger on and discovering the Jazz series of picks (which I had previous always written off as being too small to be comfortable). While I still love the Jazz series, I decided to check out the Dava stuff mainly because they looked pretty cool and had solid reviews... Since the Davas arrived they are all that I've used. They've made me play more often, making the entire experience more enjoyable while writing my bands new album to a recording deadline. They're the perfect thickness, this is probably partly because of the flexible center of the pick which allows you to hold it at different points to dictate the rigidity of how it plays. This might be one aspect that some players may find difficult to adjust to if you've got an inefficient pick grip, but it's perfect because it lets you adjust on the fly from looser strumming to more precise picked patterns (my band plays a mix of folk metal and black metal, so shifting from tremolo riffs to more loosely strummed parts and detailed leads is generally required without the hassle of changing pick types). The only downside, and this is going to vary from player to player, is that they're not the most durable picks in the world. Structurally they're perfect, but in terms of the material wearing away I've already gone through three of the six picks in just over a month...whereas I have other picks that I've owned for years and haven't worn away. A caveat to this point is that I've been recording an album full of fast rhythms and tremolo riffs using .12-.56 gauge strings (fairly thick strings) across hundreds of takes, doing this every day of the week on top of additional writing/practice sessions. So that may be an exception rather than a proper reflection on their usual durability. Still, it's the only way I can fault these. I couldn't recommend these highly enough, they're going to be my go-to picks for the foreseeable future!

If Carlsberg did guitar picks........
Great 2 way picks, As a bassist, I normally play with my fingers but with these you can get a punchy sound with the tip or turn it around and use the wide end which has a rubber coating for grip but gives a more mellow tone when used to strike the strings.
