Big Fun for Small Money
I bought one of these little cuties about fifteen months ago somewhat on a whim. I had a credit to use up and it just caught my eye while browsing. However I have no regrets at all. I had assumed the uke would be made of plastic and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived to find actual wood under the shiny black paint. (I should point out at the time I purchased the uke had no name, did not come with the bag and was even cheaper than now). The nylon strings did lose tuning quite quickly but that is to be expected when new and they did settle down. The tuning pegs are really very good considering the price of the instrument. Smooth and easy to turn and absolutely no slippage at all. To my ears it sounds pretty much as I expect a uke to sound, nice and bright and quite surprisingly loud. If, like me, you want to play around with learning a musical instrument but, like me, you don't have much room or money, this is a great place to start. Fingering the chords is just so easy to do compared to a guitar and you will find the little pads building up on the ends of your fingers after just a few days. Even better, there are a wealth of helpful websites where you can pick up playing tips and learn songs for no cost outside of your broadband bill. Two I have personally found really good are [...] which has video tutorials on strumming patterns and finger picking techniques, all really well done and easy to follow, and a Dutch site called [...]This is obviously a real labour of love for whoever put it together. It has a list of songs, graded 1-4 for difficulty, featuring a video, lyrics, a real-time guide for chord changes and the chord charts for each song. There is also a set of digital pitch pipes for tuning and instant transposition for different ukulele tunings. A huge Chapeau to whoever put it together. I may not have got much further than strumming along to Three Little Birds, but I am enjoying it immensely and that is the point. PS DISCLAIMER. I am in no way associated with the people who own or run the websites mentioned.

Fantastic Value
For people who complain about this going out of tune very quickly... Well, I'm afraid that's just what happens with stringed instruments (especially Ukuleles!), so I highly recommend ordering a clip-on tuner. It couldn't keep tune for more than a few seconds at first, but after a few days of using it I've found that the tuning stays for much longer now. Now I've got that out of the way, I have to stay this is a fantastic little Uke. For it's price, it's amazing. I was expecting something fairly shoddy, perhaps bad sound quality, but it functions perfectly. It's not often I give five stars, but this is really good. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to start out learning the Uke: if you lose interest, it won't be a major financial loss, either. Under the black paint, it is real wood, which is also a nice bonus. It is extremely light but sturdy, too. I took the carrying case for a spin to the beach and it fared the two-mile-long two way journey fine. One, very small, problem: there's an odd kind of splattering of white paint that looks like dust on the sides of the Uke... Bugs me slight, but it doesn't really matter. All in all, great! Just remember, as with any instrument that requires tuning, get a tuner for it. Some fiddling is required when it arrives, as not all the strings may be already tuned.

Helpful Review Below
This was the first instrument I ever bought for myself as a fun way to stop spending so much time on my phone and other forms of technology. The price of the product should not put you off because it is a very good introduction to musical instruments. The Ukulele is very easy to get the hang of and learn a variety of different songs on even if you have absolutely no musical experience whatsoever. This Ukulele inparticular is very good for a beginner because it boasts a great design which makes it cheap and affordable so for once you're not forced to splash the cash to get musical. It comes with its own carry case as well featuring the brand logo on it. I can safely say I can trust this brand now as they have been very reliable for me over past purchases. However. If you are NOT a beginner on the Uke the one thing that may be appealing for you with this one is its union jack design otherwise it does have some drawbacks. The size of the product is irregualr for what what it is, making it a smaller edition of the Ukulele family making it challenging to play those harder complicated notes. This is especially fustrating for someone like me as I have quite big hands so trying to get them in the right positions to play certain notes can become especially challenging. Although the strings are of a very high quality meaning that they become easy to strum after practice and produce a good sound as well. Overall I would highly rate this Uke for beginners as it's cheap and eyecatching where as for more experienced Uke players I would say you are buying because of its look and not the playing capability. Have a nice day. J ***Sidenote***** I purchased the Union Jack Tiger Ukulele

Good for beginners
This ukulele looks really nice; the paint job is great - looks really funky :) The price is great as I didn't want anything too expensive cause I'll just be teaching myself; I might do what I did with my guitar, which is considerably up the price for a new one once my playing is much better. You do get what you pay for. SERIOUS WARNING however; when ordering this, you might as well buy new strings at the same time. They are awful; I know many others have said that it goes out of tune after one song, but personally I can't even manage that. I'm no ukulele expert but, judging from what I know about guitars, a new set of strings will do the trick. As for the bag, obviously I haven't had it for very long to judge properly, but it seems pretty tough although it hasn't got any padding. A fun, cheap ukulele, would recommend for beginners.

Great little uke for the price
Great little uke......im a well seasoned musician and bought this for a present for someone......its a great little uke for the price.....all the hardware is sound and good quality for the price range.....the finish is decent for the price...but most importantly the playability is great......really easy action.....light n dinky.....sounds a little thin on the tone but that may improved with time.....perfect beginning instrument....the sparkle finish is lovely....would like that on mine......if you're a beginner you may need a hand tuning it to start with....and you will have to keep tuning it for a while till the strings settle in.....thats the case with every one you buy cos of the new nylon strings....get one n getting strummin

Fairly nice for a cheap instrument, but dodgy intonation is a problem
I bought this for a friend's birthday present on the basis of reviews on Amazon which indicated that it was pretty good for the money, along with a set of D'Addario strings (as always, decent strings on cheap ukuleles make all the difference). The ukulele is fine overall and doesn't sound too bad at all with the new strings on, but the intonation at the third fret is pretty terrible, although I can't now remember whether it's too sharp or flat. All other frets are good, just the third is way off. The build quality is alright, but by no means outstanding and ensures that this stays towards the 'toy' end of the cheap ukulele spectrum. Overall, for a beginner, I'd recommend saving up that tiny bit more for a Makala dolphin ukulele and a set of decent strings and buying yourself a proper instrument. At any rate, this one's fine for just messing around on; just don't expect too much.

I love this ukulele so much
I love this ukulele so much! I was inspired but Dodie Clarke (Doddleoddle on youtube) to get a ukulele and i have no regrets buying this ukulele. It's great quality and i love the colour, the strings are plastic but sound very clear. It does go out of tune fairly easily, however i just use a website called ukutuner to tune it which takes about a minute. The case isn't the best it is very thing however you can always buy a more padded one if its a problem. Being a 15 year old who plays guitar this is great way to learn new songs on a different instrument also ukulele is much easier and very different to a guitar as the chords are very different. If you are looking for a cheap yet brilliant ukulele 100% recommend this one!

Good, basic ukulele
This is a good, basic beginner's ukulele. It's now the third we own as a family (beware: ukuleles are contagious!) The colour is a lovely bright blue and the instrument is well made with a good finish. The heads are metal (which was a relief; we had to return a different brand which had plastic heads and couldn't be tuned.) I've only owned Stagg ukuleles before, but their quality seems to have taken a dive recently so we ordered this one instead and I'm really impressed with the quality for the price. As with the other two you spend the first few days of ownership constantly retuning while the strings stretch (one of those clip on tuners makes life so much easier), but once they do this instrument has a lovely bright sound.

Ho imparato alcuni accordi di base e alcune canzoni famose, come Somewhere Over the Rainbow e I’m Yours.
