Auraglow Automatic Plug in Multi Colour Plug Through LED Nursery Night Light with Dusk Till Dawn Daylight Sensor

I purchased this night light for myself, yes I'm a 44 year old guy, I'm not scared of the dark, but decided I needed a night light at the top of our stairs. The reason both me and my wife need a night light at the top of the stairs is because we both need to go to the bathroom during the night because of underlying health problems, however we have found turning on the hallway light when going to the bathroom is near blinding when just waking up to go to the bathroom, so we purchased this handy night light which switches itself on at night and off in the morning. The amount of light it gives out is impressive, it's bright enough to see where you are going in the dark yet isn't so bright it is painful to the eyes upon waking up. 3 colours are selectable on the side, there is warm white, blue and pink. Myself and wife are both happy with this product, it suits our needs perfectly but it would also be perfectly suited for children's bedrooms hallways, stairs and landings. It also has a handy 3 pin plug at the front so by using the device in a socket it doesn't render the plug socket out of use as 3 pin plug can be pushed into the front of the light without restricting the light output. As you can see from the photos it gives a nice neutral glow in warm white, but also a nice blue or pink glow for a boy or girls bedroom.

This one is the best night light we've ever had, anyone who needs one, I can recommend this one.

Very nice looking soft light. Cycle through the three colours by pressing a touch pad on the side. It's quite bright if it's used in a child's room for a night light but not excessively so. White and blue are brightest. Violet is less intrusive and possibly a better night light in a bedroom. For a hallway, they are great, bright but not harsh. The size of the unit means that if you put in in a trailing floor socket (e.g. a 4-way or 6-way), it might partially obscure the adjacent socket. For us, it simply meant that we put it on the end and plugged the smallest plug/power supply in next to it. Some will fit. Some won't. Not a huge problem, especially as it comes with a plug socket in its face.

It's a really neat unit and with the built-in power socket and daylight sensor, it allows you to leave it plugged in permanently and still use the power socket. It's bright enough to see the way across the landing to the bathroom in the night but not so bright that it disrupts sleep. The daylight sensor is really good and sensitive so it only comes on when it is needed which saves the electricity bill. Colours are all pleasant enough, nothing too hard on the eyes and actually much softer colours than the seller photo suggests. The pink for example is more of a deep rose colour than the 'shocking pink' in the photo. We mostly use the warm white and sometimes the blue which is quite a calming colour.

Strongly recommend this solidly made nightlight with great features: The light is soft (not harsh), but clear enough to set out a friendly path to the loo when the hallway is dark. The sensor allows the light to dim/strengthen depending on ambient light, and is set at just the right level. It's in our hallway and stays off during the day or when the hall light is on, comes on dimly when hall lights are off but adjacent room lights are on, and comes on fully when the hall is dark. The kids enjoy tapping the side to change the light colour (white, blue, pink) - though we normally revert to white. The whole piece feels solid and looks great - plus allows other things to be plugged in on top of it. We bought one, loved it, and went back for two more for our other hallways/landings. All three were the same high quality. Highly recommend!

This night light is fab! We bought one for the hallway at first, and have since bought a second one for my son's bedroom. He was waking in the night and crying at his bedroom door, which we eventually figured out was because he didn't like the dark. The first night we out this in the hallway, he wasn't afraid any more. The one in his room hasn't stopped him waking up quite as well as we'd hoped, but it's definitely helping. As a nightlight, it's incredibly straightforward - just plug it in! My son loves switching between the colours; the blue is a bit bright for me, but the pink and white are ideal. Other reviews mentioned that the white light is very bright - it's not, it's a lovely warm glow. Being able to still use the plug socket without having to take this out is very handy as well. Great simple product.

Great, light comes on when room. Gets dark has a purple and blue light along with soft white light. Not overly bright to keep you awake at night

PRO'S: Great item. Comes with three colours, pink, white and blue. Lasted so far, 3 years of constant use every night. Great for a small light whilst sleeping or to light a hallway. CON'S: Blue light is the brightest colour after 2 years but can be too bright for some to sleep in the same room, pink and white are dimmer than when originally purchased.
