Otostick Cosmetic Ear Correctors

With the help of a family member, I put my Otosticks on for the first time last night. It was like a revelation. You're probably only reading these reviews because you're conscious, as I am, about sticking out ears but You're ready for surgery. Like me, you probably held your ears back in the mirror and wished they would stay in that position. With these Otosticks it's like a miracle, you hold them back for a few seconds and they don't return to the sticky-out position! I put them on just before bed last night and as describe, my Otostick stayed in position over night and survived my shower this morning. I don't expect to get seven days out of them, however I'd be happy with one or two days for special occasions when I feel my ears will look obtuse in photographs. The only negatives I can find is that someone has to help you put them on. Like me, you might be very private about your protruding ears and allowing someone to stick them back might feel intrusive. I have had no discomfort, however I forgot to factor in that I am a full-time glasses wearer when I chose this product. All this means is that my Otosticks are placed further down my ear and because of this have a slightly decreased result had I been able to place them higher where the legs of my glasses rest. My only other gripe would be that the protective backing is quite hard to remove and touching the adhesive will automatically limit its effectiveness to stay in place for as long as it should. Overal I am more than happy with the product. Who would have thought such a simple silicon adhesive could have such a massive impact on someone self-confidence. They are quite pricey but this reflects the quality and design of the product.

These used to be great years ago. Now they are absolutely terrible. They used to last at least a week. Now the stickiness wears off within 3 days. Making it very expensive if you want to wear them often. Really disappointed as used to love these. Completely wasted my money

This tiny amazing product has changed my life for the better !!! I bought these A couple of months ago and and did not want to leave a review until I had chance to wear them for a couple of months so I could give a honest & full review. I have to get someone else to fit them, but I prob could do it myself but I have not tried... I have two issues with my ears they stick out and also I have a condition called bat ears( which where the top part of the ear is flat rather than turned over) The otostick cannot rectify the bat ears but the part where my ears stick out They can. For years when I was younger I bullied about my ears which made me really paranoid about them and I would never not in a million years worn my hair up for fear of people taking the Micky out of me,but one day changed my life for ever my hairdresser was doing a assessment and part of it she had to put someone's hair like for a wedding and she asked me if it was ok ? So on the spur of the moment I said yes there was no one else in the hairdressers and my hairdresser knew how I felt about my ears and when she had done my hair looked amazing I have never had my hair put up due to my protruding ears. I had been to see plastic surgeons in the past about them but it is not cheap and could afford the op. I went home after my experience at the hairdressers I thought there must be something out there that could help with my ears so I went on the internet and and did a search and these came up and the reviews where good. So I thought nothing ventured nothing gained. And I have never looked back. When I 1st wore them my ears felt a little bit tender and slightly bruised only for a few days ,but now after a couple of month I cannot even tell I am wearing them, I wear them all the time changing them every 10 to 14 days. Or if they staring to come off but that has been rare. I have just spent 11 days in Spain and in either the pool or in the sea every day and they only came off after 7 days which I thought I was rather good !!! And the plus point I could wear my hair up the whole of the time in Spain which I have never felt confident in the past without feeling that people are staring at my ears, If you like me have spent your life feeling scared about putting your hair up or if you are male and don't like your ears sticking out then I would highly recommend this product!!!

I first discovered Otostick after googling the cost of having my ears surgically pinned and nearly fell off the chair at the cost...i thought there must be something cosmetic out there ...and there was! Product details - I first ordered a single pack to try and have since bought more. You get 8 in a pack so 4 uses (if you need for both ears) personally each use has lasted me about a week, begore the edges start to become less effective and peel away. Using them - Each is a small bean shaped, silicone adhesive with 2 parts, part 1 sticks to the back of your ear and part 2 sticks to the side of your head and holds your ear back. The adhesive is quite strong and I have showered in them, washed my hair and slept in them without any issues. Personally I have had help putting them on to get them in the right place for my ears but mainly because my hair line behind my ears is quite low, so i pull my hair and skin back while my husband sticks them on. There is a paper stick on each part that you peel away to reveal the adhesive which can be a bit tricky. They are clear when you peel the paper so are hardly visible, people I've told I'm wearing them have said they wouldn't have known or seen them if I hadn't pointed them out. How they feel - The first time you put them on you can feel them slightly but not uncomfortably, after a day or so I literally couldn't feel them and now I forget I've got them on. Tips - My main tips are try to keep your hair away when you put them on because if it gets caught it does pull when you take them off. They do need a good pull to get them off and they do leave a bit if a sticky residue which can be removed by soapy water or something oil based. When they are ready to be replaced I take them off the night before just to let the skin breath underneath and put new ones on in the morning after my shower (making sure the area is clean and dry) In summary - They have literally changed my life, I've been wearing my hair up more and trying different styles that I felt I weren't able to to do before, I used to style my hair around my ears but now I don't have to. Anyone who feels their ears stick out will understand the challenges and emotional challenges you feel. To be able to 'Just put your hair up' is something you dream of. Otostick have helped me make it a reality and I love them. Problem is im now addicted and not sure I can live without them :-)

I found them okay to apply, once in place put a headband on to keep it in place for 5 minutes. Was all good until the next day. Ears became so tender and sore I had to remove it which is a waste as they’re expensive. To nervous to apply again as my ears wear red and swollen, May of had an allergic reaction.. Not a long term solution anyway, try for yourself as everyone is different. Also I don’t think the sticker needs to be as big as what they are for my ears and maybe if smaller would reduce the pain 😂

I was really excited to find out about these as I was bullied so much about my ears sticking out I refused to put my hair up and I am always swiping my hair over my ears to cover them. So I bought these. I got my mum to put them on for me I was almost crying at the result (with joy) but my hair got stuck in them and they lasted about an hour. My boyfriend took it off for me and it ripped the skin off my ear, causing it to bleed. I waited for my ear to heal and out them on myself for the second time. They are extremely hard to apply and my hair seems to be the problem here, I was even considering shaving my hair around my ears to get them to stick better, (I did go to the hair dresser to get this done but she told me to wait a while and only shaved a small portion at the back to see if I would like it or not thinking about going back to get a full under cut done...) You also have to make sure that the area behind your ear is extremely clean and dry. For me that area gets extremely hot when I am stressed too and it makes it harder for them to stick. Only 3 out of the 16 pairs I had worked for more than 2 days for me, but, the feeling you get when you have them on right is amazing. I couldn't help look at myself in the mirror with my hair up and smile! Going to the gym was really good too as I was that embarrassed about my ears I used to wear my hair in a way that would cover it which wasn't the best but with these, I could wear my hair up with confidence, resulting in a much more comfortable and effective work out. I want to buy them again but I am just cautious that they are a little bit pricey for what they are and if you can't do it properly then you are basically just throwing your money in the bin. So as a round up to this review, you just need to try it out for yourself and see if they are worth it for you. Which, if I could apply them properly without my hair getting in the way and they would stay on for at least 2 weeks like some people are saying in the reviews, then they would be 100% worth it!

I’ve probably purchased Otostick hundreds of times over the years and spent hundreds of pounds and honestly, they’ve been a complete game-changer for me. I’ve always struggled with my ears sticking out, and for years I avoided wearing my hair up because I felt so self-conscious. But thanks to Otostick, I finally feel confident enough to wear any hairstyle I want. They’ve truly given me a new level of freedom and self-esteem. It did take a little time to get used to applying them properly, but now I’ve perfected the technique. One pair usually lasts me about a week, and a full pack lasts me around a month, which I think is really good value considering the impact they’ve had on my life. They’re not completely invisible, but honestly, that doesn’t bother me at all, they give me the confidence I’ve always wanted. If you struggle with your ears like I did, I can’t recommend these enough. You won’t regret trying them! :)
