I had read the instructions prior to giving it to him so we quickly got it up and running. He was straight into singing along to our ipod just using the machine as a microphone and amp with disco lights flashing away, but was enthralled when we put in one of the included discs to see the lyrics on the TV! He is familiar with most of the children's songs so soon grasped the idea of following them and it will be a real bonus to aid his reading skills. He is delighted with it and so are we. I am not sure how robust it will be as the case is probably not as strong as toys aimed at this age group would be but we will see..... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best Xmas gift I've ever bought *by A***R on 30 December 2015* This is totally fantastic. Bought for my 6 year old daughter and we have had so much fun with it. The lights and the extra Mike are fed worth it. Not only have he kids loved it but the adults in the family fight over who is singing. The kids can't even get on it.
