A great choice for little ones!
We have purchased several books to add to our collection recently, but this one has really captured the attention of my 21 month old - he loves pointing at all the different sheep! It is a simple premise, fast paced and rhyming, with pictures of each sheep we encounter while searching for the elusive green sheep...

Fantastic Book
I honestly don't know who enjoys this book more - me or my 2 year old! It was a recommendation from a friend and we are definitely not disappointed. A nice change to the usual childrens nursery rhymes or other popular books (that are all enjoyed by us too) -this is fun from the first page to the last and has my daughter enthralled even after several months of reading it. Its one we always pack for a journey or trip away. It's a lovely way to introduce different actions, shapes, colours etc and uses fun pictures of different sheep all the way through on the journey to find the illusive green sheep. We giggle all the way through it and my daughter still says "shush" towards the end as we turn the page quietly to take a peep............... Brilliant...

Lovely book for small children
A wonderful book. Well done to the delivery driver who braved closed roads and street workings to deliver it.

Ssshhh.. Scream
New favorite with my 18 month toddler who is selecting this book every night for past two weeks. I bought it several months ago on recommendation from the speech therapist in a chatter babies play group, but he is only enjoying it now. He loves the scene in the park with all the sheep doing different activities. When we get to the final page with the sheep sleeping, he screams to wake him up! Nice illustrations, repetitive rhyming text and good for language development.

Great story
Great simple rhyming story, fab illustrations that capture a young eye. My month old loved it straight away and often grabs it first when I place it with other books in front of her...is an enjoyable read for parents and great for developing baby's recognition in the years to come I think.

I highly recommend this book. The illustrations are entertaining and funny, Introduces many things such as, thin, wide, near, far, moon, star, up, down, sun, rain, car, train, scared, brave, wind, wave, and colours But where IS the green sheep? You will have to read it to find out! I knitted a set of sheep, including wide, tall and coloured ones to go with the book.

it is her favorite book. This is the one she gets off ...
I bought this book for my daughter when she was 6 months old. Now, at 13 months, it is her favorite book. This is the one she gets off the shelf multiple times a day for me to read to her. I bought her some touch/feel books at the same time, but her interest in those is gone. She loves her sheep!

Sehr einfaches Englisch mit vielen Wiederholungen, daher optimal für sehr kleine Lernanfänger. Im wesentlichen werden verschiedene Schafe vorgestellt („here is the scared sheep, here is the brave sheep“) und dazwischen nach dem grünen Schaf gefragt („But where is the green sheep?“). Die Zeichnungen sind nett anzusehen.
