I'm a qualified nail technician and have worn acrylic nails for many years. I was due to have an operation so nails had to be removed and as my own technician wouldn't be able to fit me in for a few weeks (she was going on holiday) I figured for the first time in 10 years I would give my natural nails a break so promptly orderd this product. It arrived well within delivery estimates. Now this is where things got a little tricky however I MUST state this was my fault, being a nail tech I decided in my Wisdom? To not read the instructions fully. So I set about removing my false nails in the correct manner then straight away used this product.......BIG MISTAKE as per the instructions I didn't read it states very clearly do not put on your nails straight after removing acrylic nails. I felt like the tips of my fingers were going to drop off...........excruciating. I quickly got my acetone and removed the product and fingers stopped hurting, some people on here have said they suffered an allergic reaction now I'm not saying this wasn't possible but it now makes me wonder if they too didn't read full instructions. Anyway fast forward one operation and two days later I tried again. Pleased to say no issue this time, no excruciating pain, no feeling of fingers dropping off -Yayyy. My nails were in a pretty bad way due to years of wearing false nails and I still have 2 weeks to goes before I could get my acrylics put back on and I have to say I'm considering leaving them off. In the short time (2 weeks) I've been using this my nails are not as brittle or weak and I can definitely see a difference. I can't guarantee that I won't go back to my acrylic nails but I can hand on heart recommend this product, my friend never went back to false nails again and swears by this product and for the price it's amazing value. I had this same issue when I put it on my nails while they were recovering from gel nail extensions or if I had been too enthusiastic with nail smoothing and buffing. Have used since after leaving a virgin nail to grow and had no problems, nails are now lovely. There is however a sensitive version of this which does not contain formaldehyde which may or may not be available on Amazon. **Q: Can anyone tell me if the nails should be milky white after using this even when used nail polish remover my nails still look white, please help** A: yes the nails do seem whiter using this, but to be fair, I use it constantly and don't mind the white nail look. Plus it is amazing conditioner. My nails are 100 per cent better condition since I started using Eveline conditioner.
