Nice USB but low quality plastic. Everytime I unplug it, it feels like it could break. And I use it to transfer files from different devices so I’m gonna be plugging and unplugging it many times. Besides the durability, it has a decent size, okay writing speed, and it does get slightly warm but not that hot. I think it was like 15 pounds, so worth it for the price.

This is a handy little flash drive with plenty of capacity and at a reasonable price. The drive is available in two capacities - 128Gb and 256Gb. I got the larger size as I had a number of big files that needed to be moved around and a flash drive was by far the easiest option to complete this task. It is a USB 3.1 flash drive so you will need free USB-A style port free to plug the drive into. If you only have a spare USB-C port then you would also need a USB-A to USB-C adapter. Transferring files onto the drive is quite slow, which is expected with most USB 3.1 flash drives, but with that said this Amazon Basics drive outperformed one of the big brands of external storage devices in a quick test I performed - which surprised me as the big brand was quite a bit more expensive. The read speeds are much faster than write, which is to be expected and I was getting 150MB/s read speeds. During long write activities the drive does warm up a little, but nothing to be concerned about. The USB connector on the drive can be retracted within the case of the drive to protect it from damage and this is a very useful if you transfer the drive around. Additionally there is a little loop at the end of the drive which is a handy feature if you need to carry the drive around as you can clip it onto a lanyard or key chain.

I actually ordered this by mistake but kept it as it was fairly priced, it now sits in my desk drawer after being used as a system recovery driver for my pc. It helped me out of a hole and has a good 128Gb size for the light tasks you may need one for. I would recommend this.

Bought this to transfer a large amount of photos over from one device to another for slightly more stable storage. 256GB is a pretty good size for an affordable flash drive. Plug-and-play pretty much, worked immediately. Transfers have been quick, and we haven't had any issues with data being corrupted or missing or anything like that. Good flash drive.

Worked exactly as advertised. I bought this specifically to update the GPS maps on the head unit in my 2020 Kia Soul and it worked perfectly.
