Very pleased with this product. Easy to use and easy to clean. Makes great frothy coffees and lovely hot chocolate. I have used the dualit flakes, chocolate powder and diced chocolate from a small bar and each method has made a perfect hot chocolate drink. Glad I got the larger model so that I can make drinks for my husband at the same time. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and I would highly recommend it.

A large capacity (580ml) nonstick milk frother, coffee, hot chocolate, and milk shake maker. It comes with 2 stirrers, a clear lid and a power base. It has graduated ml markings inside, starting at 200ml, going up to 550ml in 50ml stages. I received this as a Christmas present, mainly for use as a hot chocolate and milkshake maker, but of course as the label on the side states, it can be used to make hot frothy milk and various coffees. The same label also states what internal attachments you need for the various drinks. What I like was that there is no post to put the stirrers on, unlike other types of frothers, it seems to operate on magnetism, and this turns the stirrer, making it very easy to clean the inside, as removing the everything is very easy, a matter of just lifting them out. Once you have selected your number on the dial, this corresponds to the type of drink you want, pour in your milk, add your chocolate flakes, if making hot chocolate, and press the start button. The machine starts very slowly, so don’t think it’s faulty, just let it do its thing. First it will heat the milk up, then gently agitate it, then it will start the full stir, frothing the hot chocolate up nicely. It pours out the drink effortlessly without making any mess and I suggest you clean the inside as soon as you have poured the drink out, to save it drying on the nonstick surface, making it harder to clean. Wipe with a damp cloth and then dry. Don’t forget to clean the stirrers are the same time and allow to air dry, so that you don’t break the tiny filaments when drying. I have tried it with various types of milk, including semi, lactose free, oat and coconut milk and they all froth up perfectly. A great practical and multi use frother, that I’d thoroughly recommend, I’ve tried the rest and now I have tried the best.

Love this milk frother, bought to replace a previous dualit one which gave up after 10 years. Easy to use, though takes a while compared to the old one. The mil is just the right temperature and I do 200ml of milk for 600ml of coffee to get 2 delicious lattes. Clean with a scratch resistant sponge and pop back on the base. It is very large though, so maybe only one for people with plenty of counter-top space, or if coffee is very important. Haven't used for hot chocolate, but am sure it would be delicious. The size is good for when I have guests and don't want to be heating up separate batches of warm milk.

I have been using since Christmas, as this was a gift for my wife. It is simple to use for various coffee, chocolate, milk drinks with different settings for each. In reality the setting just seem to increase the froth. My only issue is the heat. If you use milk from the fridge it doesn't get very hot. I have taken to warming the milk in the microwave first. Or you could run the program twice. It is easy to clean.

I was so excited to get this product, and to be fair, for about two weeks it really lived up to the hype. It genuinely is a great throther and hot chocolate maker. However to my dismay one morning it suddenly blew all the electrics in my kitchen and it stopped working completely. I assume the fuse went, but the screws to unscrew the bottom and get to the fuse are impossible to get to without a specific screwdriver which I don't have, because the holes to access the screws are so narrow. So now I can't use it at all. Really disappointed.

Great milk frother. Abit expensive but worth it! So easy to clean Milk temp great! You get 4 sachets of chocolate shavings with it. Like the fact you can put chocolate in machine rather than cup. Has 5 different functions Does 2 full mugs at once And 1 large c o s t a plastic mug. Excellent product!

Perfect, brought as a birthday present for my dad as he is obsessed with hot chocolate. Highly recommend so simple to use and the quality it good, doesn’t feel like it’s going to break like some of the others.

We started with a Velvetiser, but it broke, we were sent a replacement, but that one also broke, so Hotel Chocolat basically told us we couldn't have another, because if it broke they wouldn't help us. It was like we were being blamed for their faulty machines! We then found out that this machine is made by the same company but works better, so we have it a go it's a hundred times better! We think the heat is slightly higher, the noise is quieter, the froth is adjustable and you can fit more liquid in it. It is working brilliantly and we're glad we bought it. Would highly recommend.

Bonjour, Cette appareil fonctionnait très bien, et faisait le bonheur de mes enfants. Malheureusement il ne marche plus au bout de 3 mois ! L’appareil clignote et s’éteint !

Imagine my surprise purchasing this item on the US Amazon and receiving a power cord that is decidedly for European use. I can't use this in my home, but it looks lovely. If in the US, this is not for you.
