Real Techniques Foundation Brush

I recently upgraded my makeup routine with the Real Techniques Foundation Brush, and it's been a game-changer. The bristles are soft yet dense, allowing for seamless blending and a flawless finish. Whether I'm using liquid, cream, or powder foundation, this brush delivers smooth, streak-free application every time. A lovely make up brush. I use it for blending my foundation and it does the job well. A noceshape for getting in the nooks and crannies! The bristles are good quality and after washing with a bit of shampoo it comes up good as new.

Although advertised for the application of foundation, this is the optimum size and shape for contouring. The tip is 1cm wide, with the inner hairs 5mm wide, 3 cm in depth (across the angle), and 2-3 cm in length. Because of its small size and shape, its extremely versatile. I use powders, but I don't see why it couldn't work equally well with liquids. As a man with prominent bone structure, I contour to accentuate my favourite features, and many brushes are too large or spherically shaped to apply precise contouring. Smaller brushes don't allow for continuity as application with small brushes and blending with larger brushes also disperses the product outwards too much - thats fine for blending bronzer/blusher, but absolutely not right for contouring - a different kind of blending is needed. The dainty inner hairs along the tip allow for delicate contouring for a natural cat-eye, the depth of the hairs allows for excellent precision contouring on the nose - so fine in fact the it barely needs blending out (if you're delicate with how you apply the product to the brush), and for defining cheekbones and temples - applying the contour in soft thin lines, and then sweep through making use of the angle allows for the most natural and precise contouring I've ever done. I've used all sorts of applicators, and brushes from different brands, and this is absolutely my top suggestion for contouring. I use MAC's Coquette eyeshadow - its a cool-toned dusty mauve/brown, and when blended well, has worked with varying shades of skin (both my own pale and tanned, and on others). Please don't contour with bronzer, its a separate layer with a different purpose, and I certainly wouldn't suggest this brush for bronzing. Again - for contouring, hands down it'll be your new beauty must-have.

Very nice and soft touch, good quality materials, but I could't use it to apply liquid foundation as it left traces on my skin and it didn't reach all the areas of my face. It might be suitable for powder foundation , didn't try it on that yet.

Great foundation brush, no loss of hairs. Colour of handle was orange and black, but it does state colour may vary. The brush quality is exactly the same as the pink one, so if you don't mind what colour then you will be happy 😊

Loved the brush - the price it was offered at was twice lower than at most shops. The brush does not leave traces of foundation and is easy to carry around. Using it for a week though, hopefully it's as good for many more as it is now. Delivery was really quick!

I love these brushes. You simply can't get the same finish with any other brush or sponges and I've accumulated alot of brushes over the years, including Mac, no7, bobby brown but these are my favourite. I'm not an expert at putting make up on but these make it so easy!!

This gives a nice, smooth coverage for liquid foundation. Not quite as smooth as I hoped, but it's a lovely everyday brush. Good quality, washes well (huge plus!) Sometimes the bristles will stick out, and although they pull back in easily I don't like the fact that they do. No shedding. Some might find the top a bit too flat for a thicker (full coverage) liquid foundation.

Me gusta mucho usar las brochas de la marca Real Techbiques, maquillan muy bien, tienen buen pelo y son tupidas, muy recomendables, además están genial de precio

I use this brush for applying masks and it is great quality. I have not had any fall out and it's just been awesome.

Tengo mi piel muy sensible, por lo que usar brochas de maquillaje es algo que evito. Pero desidí arriesgarme con esta brocha ya que ocupaba algo que me ayudara a distribuir mejor mi maquillaje. Y funcionó muy bien. Además, no es muy grande, por lo que su uso es bastante fácil, así como su limpieza. La recomiendo mucho.

I love the blending ability of this brush and the low cost, is a plus.
