Anker PowerLine II Lightning Cable
The Anker PowerLine II Lightning Cable is a stellar choice for anyone seeking a reliable and durable charging solution for their Apple devices. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience: **Durability and Build Quality:** Anker markets the PowerLine II as "probably the world's most durable cable," and it certainly lives up to this claim. The cable feels robust and well-constructed, with reinforced stress points that prevent fraying. After months of daily use, it shows no signs of wear and tear, which is a testament to its exceptional durability. **Performance:** The cable provides fast and efficient charging for a range of Apple devices, including the iPhone 6/6 Plus, 7/7 Plus, 8/8 Plus, and the X series (X, XR, XS, XS Max). It’s MFi certified, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance without any annoying error messages. The charging speed is consistent and matches the performance of original Apple cables. **Design:** At 3 feet (0.9 meters), the cable is a convenient length for everyday use. It’s perfect for connecting to a laptop or a nearby outlet without excessive slack. The white color matches well with most Apple products, maintaining a clean and cohesive look. **Value for Money:** Given its impressive durability and reliable performance, the Anker PowerLine II offers excellent value for money. It might be slightly more expensive than generic cables, but its longevity and quality justify the price. In the long run, it could save you money by reducing the need for frequent replacements. **Conclusion:** The Anker PowerLine II Lightning Cable is a top-notch accessory for iPhone users. Its robust construction, reliable charging performance, and MFi certification make it a standout choice. Whether you need a cable for daily use or for travel, the PowerLine II is unlikely to disappoint. Highly recommended!

Extremely durable and reliable—far better than standard iPhone cables
This Anker PowerLine II Lightning cable truly lives up to the hype. The build quality is outstanding—it feels strong, flexible, and resistant to fraying or bending, something most Apple cables struggle with. After months of daily use, it still looks and performs like new. Charging speed is excellent, and being MFi certified means it works flawlessly with all my Apple devices—no “accessory not supported” errors. The 3‑foot length is perfect for desk or bedside use, and the connectors fit snugly without loosening. It’s clear Anker designed this to last, and it’s backed by their excellent warranty for extra peace of mind. A brilliant replacement or upgrade from Apple’s own cables—top quality, dependable, and worth every penny.

Good but doesnt last very long.
Very good charger at a good price from a reliable company. Good length however with this comes a cost of durability. I had 3 of these chargers as the first broke, and I immediately emailed the Anker customer response team and they promptly sent me a replacement which again broke and they did the same, after that one broke I gave up, however I can not fault the anker team and the warranty you get with this item. They all broke in the same way, with the lightning connecter snapping from the cord. Overall, buy at your own risk, I may have just received fault products.

Quality and Durability at an Affordable Price.
In truth, there isn't a great deal you can write about a cable. This is white. 1.8m in length. Has a USB connector at one end and a Lighting connector at the other. It is sturdy, well made and durable. It offers additional protection at the parts of the cable that will experience the most wear and tear, the parts just below the connectors. In other cables and leads I have purcahsed these are the two areas where wear is most noticeable and the areas that eventually leads to the wires becoming exposed even broken. Anker have factored this into their design. The cable is made for Apple products that use a Lighting connector. It also states that it offers faster charging with industry-leading technology built in. I have noticed my phone does appear to charge quicker! Anker products are MFI certified. So at least you won't see that message appear on your Apple screen that basically says you've just wasted your money. When you buy a cable you expect it to do two things 1) work and 2) have some longevity. That hasn't always been the case UNTIL I discovered Anker cables. Buying an Anker product also ensures you're purchasing total confidence in your product. Anker demand nothing less than total satisfaction form all their products. So confident are Anker in this PowerLine II Llighting cable's durability that they offer a Lifetime Warranty (Conditions apply). Anker offers brilliantly made quality products at affordable prices. Since buying my first Anker cables some four years ago, I instantly became a convert and not just for cables but for their phone cases, screen guards, chargers and Power Core portable charging packs, I can safely say I have never been disappointed in any product purchased. To ensure that they offer total satisfaction to their customers, they offer an unrivalled level of customer care and support. They genuinely care that your experience of their products is the best possible. When you purchase an Anker product you are purchasing quality and durability at an affordable price. Anker products are definitely worth exploring, in my opinion.

Bought to enable my phone to be charged in my car
Because the Sat-Nav in my car is quite out of date I use a mapping app on my phone instead. However, on long journeys the battery in the phone needs re-charging so I bought this cable to connect my phone to a USB socket in the glovebox so that it's charging the phone on the journey. I need to see my phone in a holder to the right of the steering wheel and the USB socket is on the left so I needed a 3 metre cable to be able to route it along the door pillars and across the top of the windscreen (it's possible to hide the cable inside the headlining). I thought 3 metres would have been plenty but it was only just long enough. The cable works well in that it does charge my phone from the USB socket, I'm not sure if I can transfer any data but if not, that's probably not a fault of the cable. I can't fault the cable and it appears durable and well made, although a thinner cable and another 10 cm in length would have been easier to route. Recommended

3/5 stars - durable and reliable, but limited by the ageing Lightning standard
I chose this cable as a daily charging and data lead for older Lightning-based devices that still see regular use at my desk and in the car. In the hand, it feels noticeably more robust than generic alternatives. The TPE jacket is thick without being stiff, strain relief at both ends is well executed, and the Lightning connector seats cleanly with no looseness. At 0.9 metres, the length is practical for close-range charging without excess slack getting in the way. In use, charging and data transfer are consistent and stable, with no intermittent dropouts during CarPlay sessions or file syncing. The cable tolerates repeated bending and coiling better than most, although it is not indestructible and should not be treated as such. The main compromise is relevance rather than performance: Lightning is a legacy interface, and this cable offers no advantage beyond durability and reliability within that constraint. As a high-quality replacement rather than a forward-looking purchase, it makes sense, but it is difficult to justify long-term investment in this format.
