Okay, there’s a tiny area at the top of the dial (and I mean tiny) that doesn’t light up when you push the crown in but that’s trivial. Other than that I really like the stylish simplicity of the watch face. Easy to read in daylight or darkness. The fantastic thing about the watch is its accuracy. I’ve had it for a week and it has only lost 3 seconds. Incredibly accurate. What I found strange was that the date is set in the normal way I.e. taking the crown out to the first click but the day of the week can only be set by continually working through the hours A long winded way to change the day of the week but only needs to be a lengthy exercise once. Great no nonsense robust watch for normal day wear and at a great price. Well done Timex !

I like this model for several reasons; the clear white dial with large numbers is very visible and the day/date readout is useful and easy to read; the smart leather strap is made from soft leather and comfortable to wear. A very useful feature is the INDIGLO night light which illuminates the white dial when the adjustment crown is pressed in; there is enough illumination to see your way across a darkened room! This watch is advertised to be water resistant to 30 meters. The watch is very hard wearing and very easy to wear; it looks more expensive than it actually costs, I highly recommend this Timex timepiece!

**Q: What type of battery does this watch use?**
A: I bought the Energizer 2016 brand, you'll need to look for CR2016 on the battery in the package. Mine came in a 2 pack for about $8.00 at Walmart.

**Q: Is it small enough for women?**
A: I bought this watch for my husband as he wanted a watch that was easy to read without all the gimcracks found on a lot of other watches.  It is a standard man sized watch of about 1 inch across so if you are looking for a little delicate looking watch, this is not it.  So it depends on what you think of as a 'womans' watch. If you are referring to the size of the band then you can always have more holes punched to make it fit a woman's wrist. If is a good looking watch.  Very traditional.

**Q: Is this watch loud like the Timex weekender?**
A: It isn't quite as loud as the Weekender, but the ticking sound is definitely noticeable. It doesn't bother me, but I can see how it would annoy others.

**Q: Why is this half again as expensive as the same thing sold by the manufacturer? I'd like to buy it, but not with that kind of mark-up.**
A: Don't know? I like mine a lot!!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good watch, so far. . .

Trouble setting date. Couldn’t. There was no functioning middle position of the knob to do so. Returned it for a swap. Same problem, but at least the date was now correct on this one so I may never need to change it. Other than that, I like the watch. It is quiet, no irritating ticking, it seems to keep good time, backlighting works fine. It's a handsome and simple design, easy to read, and comfortable to wear. Let’s see how long it lasts.
